Very comfortable shoe, it feel like walking on air right out of the box, it has a lot of toe room and nice arch support. The shoe is very well ventilated so no sweaty feet. I have very wide feet so the 5E worked out perfect for me. The shoe is very well made so it can take on every day use without problems.
They're very easy on and easy off and the Propets I've been buying in recent years are more comfortable than other brands of similar shoes I've also bought. One negative about them though is that I walk with a slight dragging motion, so the heels do tend to wear out rather quickly, especially the right side of the heel on the right shoe while the rest of the shoe remains in almost mint condition. I wish they would wear better in that respect. If they did I'd be glad to give them 5 stars.
Why did I title it this way? Because I just spent $13.38 to return a pair that were to small. Plus a restocking fee. with Shoebuy or Zappos there is no return fees and they provide a return pre-paid label. Don't know why I didn't go with them this time. Live and learn. So, if you want to pay sales tax, restocking fees, return shipping fees, go ahead and use this vendor. As you know shoe sizes vary wildly from manufacturer to manufacturer. I have a very wide foot and thought a 5E would work. Not even close. Never again.
I wish manufacturers had a better understanding of the meaning of WIDE. These Propet shoes in 5E width are a full 3/4 inch narrower than the New Balance 4E's I have been wearing. I would continue with the New Balance shoes but they have been superceded by a new model whose 6E is 1/2 inch narrower than their old 4E. It's like some malicious person has hacked into and changed the international shoe width database and the manufacturers have not noticed. Hopefully I can use extreme measures to stretch these out wider without destroying them.
HIgh toe box; length and width true-to-size, soft leather upper. Good value for those features. Alternative is $150 per pair for high-end shoes with (maybe) those features.
This shoe is 14 EEEEE. I had many shoes either 14 EEEEE or 15 EEEE from NB.I have no problem with size 14 or 15 but when New Balance 4 E fits perfect this shoe having 5 E is not as wide as expected.I am trying to brake it maybe will be ok, but I am not very enthusiastic about it.
