Best slippers for elderly with tile floors
I have been wearing these for years. They are pricey so I ordered a number of cheaper slippers but sent them all back. They all had rubber soles. You might ask why I sent back if they had rubber soles. They also had memory fun I didn’t feel secure. I’m 72 and although rubber soles are good for some floors they are not good for tile floors because it sticks and catches on the tile floor. These are orthopedic no memory foam and they have polyurethane soles which don’t catch the soles at least not for me. At 72 I cannot afford to fall. They aren’t the prettiest but give great arch support feel secure and I feel safer in them….

SYLISH,-STABLE,- SOFT SLIPPER/SHOES THAT FIT YOUR LIFE & YOUR FEET!
Comfortable, right out-of-the box and sized for real feet like my 6 1/2 EXTRA WIDES! They offer soft,- cozy- inserts and soles with a comfortable-give and slip-resistance. No, (in my "odd" size), I didn't have a full-choice of colors, but black goes with all. You can wear them with the sides -up or -down; in- & out-of-the-house. Let's make it even realer. As my Amazon account reminded me, I bought the same slippers/shoes over 4 years ago. That’s a good bit of wear. Especially, considering, I wore them virtually every-day, all-day (Given I am disabled and do not work.) My old ones will not be retired, but will continue to serve as my backyard/gardening shoes (These poor soles will get no rest!) I plan on getting them good and dirty! If you decide purchase, please enjoy them as much as I have.

cozy, warm, runs small and tight toes
The slippers feel very nice on, keep feet warm and have outdoor soles. Attractive. Solid build keeps toes safe. Flip-up "collar" is comforting to ankles, but it doesn't hug. The slipper is more stable if the pile-lines collar and vamp are left flipped down. Slippers run a half to a full size small due to pile lining, and also rather narrow. I normally wear a 7.5M, but got an 8W and the toes are still a very tight fit....maybe that resolves if the pile insoles flatten. My overall suggestion for a design tweak would be a squarer and taller toe box for comfort and to accommodate orthotics.

Update to my review
Fits true to size, wide enough to be comfortable but not sloppy. The soles (which squeak on my wood floors) are firmer than I would have liked, but the slippers are comfortable and cute so overall I’m happy with them. With a more flexible sole like a moccasin i would have given them 5 stars.I ended up returning these. The width is good, but the toe box is so shallow it put pressure on my toes which was very uncomfortable. So cute but they didn’t work out for me.

Run long & narrow; no response from Propét
These look like quality footware, but the sizing is ridiculous. I can't fill out the "How does this product fit" question above in this form. They were too large in length and too small in width.I typically take a 9.5 Wide in a running shoe and recently bougt a 10 in a Teva ReEmber with no issue (those don't come in half sizes). So when many reviews indicated they ran small, I ordered a 10 Wide. It was way too long and still snug in the width. I tried again, ordering a 9.5 X-wide. The width was more comfortable but it was still long enough to fit a finger in at the heel and it would ride up and down the heel when walking. I tried them with my orthotics and found they no longer slipped, but were then too tight in the width. The uppers on this slipper are quite stiff. Slippers I've had in the past had enough softness that the sizing would not need to be as precise as with a regular shoe, but that is not the case here.I was prepared to try once more, but not sure if I should go for a 9 X-wide or 9 XX-wide. I went to Propét's website and called their 800#. A recording said I was #2 in the queue, and after a few minutes, I was #1. I remained #1 in the queue for another 45 minutes before hanging up. I then filled out the contact form on their website. More than a week later, I still have heard nothing from them. Both pairs are being returned and I will not buy from Propét again.
