Love these boots! Warm and water /snow slides off. Size is exact AND fits my orthotics too.
Reviews seem mixed here, but for me, they are fantastic. The zipper is brilliant and keeps my shoelaces tied. They fit out of the box with no breaking in. I wore them on an all day excursion to Tokyo. Very well made. They are even water repellant. I wear a 6EE and I am not trying to accommodate bunions. My feet really are naturally square! I love the fact that Propet makes a shoe that looks good and fits my foot. Their sandals can be hit or miss ( stay away from Velcro), but if you have a small wide foot, their boots are the best I’ve found!
Really comfortable boots with great footbed. Navy color is perfect with denim jeans and shorts with ankle socks. They're tight and adjustable with lacing should feet swell sometimes. The side zipper makes them easy on/off. The olive color is really pretty too. I ended up keeping the brown color which is rich and beautiful. Might reorder the navy because the color is so nice! Size is right on. They're already Scotchgard treated. Will wear for casual or camping and hiking. Very cute and practical boot. I highly recommend. Fast shipping and no question returns. Prices are half of brick and mortar and a great value.
This is my second pair. I liked them so much I bought a second when the first wore out. Pretty sure I got two winters of heavy use out of them. I take my shoes off multiple times a day and the zipper makes this much easier, but also having the laces means you can get a 'custom' fit if you have a quirky instep or width. I get lots of compliments on them. I have a 9-9.5 extra-wide/EEEE foot; with feet that size you accept what the manufacturers are making that fits you well. It's exciting to have footwear people think is attractive, that also fits my feet well.My only gripe is that the back, above the heel counter, wore out more quickly that I'd expected on my original pair. The liner of the boot tore back there and the heel support was uncomfortable rubbing against my Achilles'. In their defense, I wear these almost daily from late fall through the winter, unless the snow starts to get deep. With the second pair I have been very cognizant of putting my thumb down the back of the boot as I slide my foot in, to reduce the friction on the back inside wall of the boot. The second pair seem to be faring better with this strategy. A shoe horn would also work to protect this wear-spot. Definitely recommend them. I hope they're still making them when I wear out the current pair, which I hope will take a few years.
I have bought these boots in red, green, black, brown, and now Navy. They fit my feet great and I love the fact that they have the zipper so I don’t have to be tying boots. Works great for going out to dinner or for going to church in the fall in winter. I use the red ones to walk in the winter in the Chicago weather if it is not icy out. They do have a tread on them. I also treat them with suede spray.
These are awesome. I did put some heel pads in because they're a bit long and slippy, but the width is excellent. I figure these are mostly going to be cool weather shoes, so the thicker socks will help with the fit. I only own five pairs of shoes; these, work boots, super cheap everyday sneakers, some also awesome blue Propet walking shoes, and flip flops. It took me two months to decide to actually buy these, because....well, because I'm my dad's kid, so I have mildly giant wide feet (8 4E), hate shoe shopping and shopping in general, and I'm kinda cheap...er, ahem, a "savvy shopper". Blue boots with squarish toes are on the "want" list, not the "need" list. I do love a square toe. And blue. And boots. And it's awesome that there are pretty shoes in 4E!!!! Anyhow. They didn't get here in time for the trip I wanted them for (insert long complaint about FedEx here); not Amazon's fault that my two day shipping turned into three day. They aren't suitable for my job- cattle ranch- and are too hot for Texas summer. So I've only worn them twice so far, but they were comfortable. They made me grin every time I saw my feet. When it's cooler, I'm wearing my awesome blue boots as often as possible.
So close. This is not a high quality shoe, more of a "fashion" shoe than I was hoping for. I wish the foot bed was better, and all day walk-able. Its not. Its thin, hard, and not supportive. I can probably improve it with a better insert. I like the side zip, I wish it were fully gusseted. The stitching is uneven, the fabric cuts are rough and unfinished. They are still cute looking in person, and better looking than the Amazon images. I love the blue/grey color (its not navy, but I didn't want it to be. Its a very attractive neutral). I like that it came with scotch guard applied. I really want an every day ankle boot that is practical, and comfrotable to walk in all day, but better looking and a little dressier than my Keen hiking boots. I fell in love when I saw these; good looking, no/low heel, and a practical sole with a useful amount of grip. I wish I could buy a higher price point version of these.
