great fit but quality is lacking

Propet is the only company that makes boots wide enough to fit my feet, and even a few of their styles don't fit. I was very glad to find that these boots are truly as wide as expected, and I won't have any problem wearing them even with thick socks and my own insoles. They are true to size in terms of width and length too, so there's no need to size up.Unfortunately, other than size the boots are mediocre. They have a good grip on the soles, which is a plus. They definitely keep water out. But they are only middling warm, so you'll need thermal socks even in the teens, not to mention anything really cold. The fleece lining along the top doesn't extend more than an inch down, so it doesn't keep you warm. Instead it is just annoying because it sheds on everything and gets caught in the zipper. I also found the zipper very difficult to open and close even below that, so I have to use the laces. On top of that, one of my boots arrived with a big scratch on the toe- definitely not in pristine condition!
