I tried a half size larger than I wear because they weren’t available in my size & it does say they run small, but they were too big.I had no problem with the upper opening -enough room there. They do fit snug around the top of the foot, but they must because there’s no laces for tightening. They're not too stiff for walking either.Overall - decent boot - I’d say they run true to size.
The neck of the boot was too narrow. The lining was too thin.The foot compartment was a correct fit but it was too difficult to squeeze my foot through the neck.The styling was very nice.

Good shoes, well made. I ordered extra wide and they are still very hard to pull over the back of your foot. Im sure with time that will get easier
I usually wear size 8 and my feet are not wide. After reading reviews I ended up getting an 8 wide because I hate tight fitting shoes. I was bummed out once I received them because my big toe was just touching the front and I could have used a tiny bit more toe space. After checking, there were no 8 1/2 available and I needed boots so I decided to stick with them because they were relatively cheap ($45). They have broken in wonderfully and I am no longer bothered by the big toe issue. If you wear thick socks, order a half size up. They are very comfortable, well made, extremely warm even without socks (wny winter), stay dry, and easy to get on and off. As for fashion, I’m 39 years old and I’m not sure if they give old lady vibes or not but I’m at the point where comfort and easy on and off are more preferable than style.
I ordered this in 7W. The foot part fit good, but the opening when unzipped was too tight for my large ankle to get through without a struggle. I then ordered a 7XW thinking this would help. Ankle opening too small again. Couldn't get foot in at all. I really liked the look and build of the boot. I just wish they made opening wider with wider size. Had return both.
Not what I expected for the price cheaply made. Item was returned.
