I have a long video about these boots. Width in shoes is extremely important to me. I have a permanent pinky toe injury from healing incorrectly. And I normally need wide shoes but my right foot specifically could use a little bit more. The boots are very cute, they have a nice rubber outside to protect from snow. I think they would do good with heat. If you do not have wide feet or just wide (not extra wide) I would get the extra wide if you want to wear thick socks in them. In my video I have on Haynes socks and my foot is comfortable and then with it I have lots of wiggle room. The wait is not bad it’s what’s expected for a good snow boot. Very easy to put on, zipper is extremely easy to pull up and down. Not quite sure about traction, I’ve tried I’m just some tiling they seem to have some decent grip.

Great Fit for Wide Feet!!!
I have wide feet, I mean seriously wide feet (6 1/2 EE) and finding shoes that fit has always been a struggle. Finding cute boots has never happened for me before this. But, people, these boots are AWESOME! They are cute, they are water proof, they are warm and they are WIDE! They feel great and don't squeeze, pinch or make my feet hurt. I wore them for six hours at work (I brought my old tennis shoes just in case.) I am on my feet the entire time and not once did my feet hurt! I recommend these for you ladies out there who have looked and looked for wide boots! I did get a 7 wide and they are not too long, so maybe they run small that way. I love them!

On the snug side, but great for a little snow
Propet makes sturdy and reliable footwear, and this is no exception. There are three things to consider with these boots, depending on the weather in your area. First, there is a circle of synthetic fur around the top, allowing dampness to seep inside if it's raining. But it helps keep your feet warm in cold, dry weather. Second, this is an ankle boot. If you get significant snow, this boot won't be of any use, but if you have little snow, it will be perfect for your needs. Finally - and this seems to be true of Propet's shoes in general (I have plenty of them), it runs small and snug. Definitely order up in size!

Great Boots!
I usually wear a 10 W in a hiking boot, I accidently purchased a 10 4E. They are a little loose, I could wear a thicker sock, but don't really need to. I wanted something I can slip on WITHOUT UNZIPPING to go get mail, take my dog out to poddy, light shoveling etc. When I was young we called slip on boots - shoe boots, Lol .This extra width size did not affect any other part of the shoe except the toe box, heel placement is fine and my heel doesn't slip up when walking. Next to my 10 wide hiking boots they look the same size, not overly big. People complained they are heavy, not heavy to me, I'm used to wearing sturdy hiking boots, People also said they are hard soled, a little, the pad is not thick or cushy, but if you wear orthotics you can easily replace with something thicker. If you have problems getting your foot inside the opening, or the zipper ripping, your not buying these wide enough.

Update: one year later...
Update 2019: This year we are having real cold weather very early. We have had ice, snow, and below zero wind chill in early November. And my boots, wearing fleece lined tights and medium weight socks, have left me in the wicked cold. The cold radiated through the sole of the boot and I was miserable. Immediately I ordered a pair of sheepskin insoles. They fit perfectly, but with lightweight socks were too thick. Just walking inside the house the boots rubbed the top of my feet, my heels, toes, and sides of my feet. I specifically chose insoles that weren't super thick or fluffy. They can't be cut down as they are sewn onto a stiff backing to hold them in place.So the insoles will go back. The boots? I will try thick socks, and search other insoles to see if a different material will work. Or donate them and shop for another pair.Original post: this fall, I was determined to find boots for ice, snow, and icy wet conditions that would not look out of place for traveling, business, and other going to-and-fro where I could easily step out of them and put on indoor shoes.I found what I needed in the Propét Lumi Ankle Zip Snow Boots. It is, but it lines the whole boot and is not just a decoration around the top. The weight of socks you choose helps. The boot will accommodate my orthotics comfortably, but the support is is such that I haven't used them.When the package arrived, I found the soles to be very inflexible so that it felt like I was walking in cee-ment shoes. Warm, waterproof but heavy feet
These boots seem very warm. Held up well slogging through some deeper puddles. Fit is comfortable, a little snug pulling on over moderately heavy socks. Main concern was how heavy they felt. I have back issues, I suspect some days the weight of these would bother me. I have a double side width foot and these boots seem to fit well. Time will tell if they are too heavy for me.
