At last a cute enough, comfortable shoe in xx-wide! I mostly wear sandals because that what my feet are most comfortable in, but I needed something for when it’s raining or a little too cold for sandals. These fit the bill. I like the thick but not too thick, cushioned soles and the flexibility. I really appreciate that someone was thinking of those of us who have wide feet and made some shoes for us that aren’t ugly.
Bought these for my 88 year old mother. The shoes are comfortable and supportive. Mom deals with edema in her ankles and feet which causes the anterior region (front) of her ankles to be super sensitive so any shoe with a tongue causes her pain. The straps that cross the top of the foot are stretchy and the mesh fabric of the shoes allow for flexibility when any swelling occurs. She is able to easily slip on the shoes without trouble. I just ordered her a second pair to use as her "in the house" shoes.
With shoes I’d wear nylons with I wear 7.5. I read reviews and ordered an 8, and they fit like a 7.5. Order up.Still, plenty of room for an orthotic with or without the removable foot bed.Side seam rubs my pinky toe and side of my foot so debating on adding moleskin or returning. They are light weight and comfy otherwise.
These roomy, soft, cute, canvass shoes are some of most comfortable I have owned. Very light weight and exceptionally cushioned against pavement (both sole and insole).SIZE: On the large side in length and width (bought 12M), so some wiggle. Easy on and off without opening velcro. The feeling of wide width may be partly due to shoe flexibility.STYLE: Silver is very light gray that is almost silver. Some, but very little sparkle in the right light. Vamp is a little long, but doesn't look it due to roundness. Shoe looks smaller than it is even in the larger size. Attractive simplicity. Got compliments.COMFORT: Elastic "V" strap goes around foot bone so very comfortable. Insole padding is very good and it has the little bit of arch support (the footbed does not). Insole is easily removable if you wish to replace with your own. Toe area has just enough height to not pinch at all. The "guard" around the toe is a little more firm so protects shoe stretching from little toe knuckle around to ball joint of foot. The lacy netting is very flexible and slightly (hardly noticably) stretchy. These are so comfortable that they could be used as slippers or worn continually.PRACTICALITY: Lightweight sole has good traction and is really squishy. No experience cleaning yet. Packs easily. Not good for wet weather. Well made.(and no, I didn't get paid to review. I just really like them)

These shoes were very light and could have been comfortable, but inside the shoes the material had places where it was rubbing, so I sent back. I am looking for a cute pair of walking shoes that have Arch Support and can go long distances walking without giving blisters. These Propet Women's Travelactiv Mary Jane Fashion...Size 6.5. would have given me blisters had I tried to take them on a long walk over 2 miles, which I do daily. So, I returned these with no trouble. To help others with this shoePropet Women's Travelactiv Mary Jane Fashion...Size 6.5. I usually wear a 6.5 B. and occasionally I have to go up to a size 7 B. I do not have fat feet, but the widest part of my foot is 4 inches, while the length of my foot is 9.3/9.4 Inches long. It's pretty slender and I have high arches with plantar fasciitis right in the middle of my arches, so I need a soft supportive support for those arches. These shoes did not have that. They were cute and if it wasn't for the rubbing that would have caused blister next to little toes and heal these might have been a great shoe. So, I am giving them at least 3 stars. They do seem to work for some feet. Amazon has a wonderful return policy, so it makes it work while trying them on and sending them back, if they don't fit right.
Love, love, love these shoes. It's so hard to find good, comfortable, supportive shoes that don't irritate my tailor's bunions. If you haven't bought Propet shoes before, you should know that their sizing system is ridiculously off. I am a size 8.5 E but often have to get a 9 to get the width right. In Propet, I am a size 8 or even 7.5 E, depending on whether it has straps (since that helps a looser shoe stay on). These size 8 E shoes were still a little loose for me overall (the toe box was perfect), but luckily I also had another pair of Propet shoes that I'd taken the insert out of to put my orthotics in. I took that extra factory insert with just a bit of arch support and combined two inserts in each shoe. That ate up just the right amount of extra room and gave me a decent amount of arch support.Propet shoes are worth the money for those of us who like cute shoes but have problem feet. I have owned another pair of the previous style of Mary Janes for 4 years and they have stood up to all kinds of abuse, including having to be scrubbed hard and go through the washing machine like six times due to a gasoline pump failing to shut off and filling my shoes with gas. With enough grease-cutting soap and several times through the washer, I was able to save them and they are going strong! These shoes are great for walking with the comfort of tennis shoes but they look dressier. You can't go wrong! Just make sure you order shoes that have free returns so you can try different sizes and find your appropriate Propet size!
I love these shoes!!! I have a hard time finding shoes to fit my width and the right length that are comfortable. I decided to try these. They are perfect!!! So comfortable! Stay on my feet but feel like I’m barefoot. Since barefoot is my preferred style they are perfect!!! They are a bit pricey for me. But I reckon it’s worth it for comfortable shoes. I recommend for anyone with wide feet.
