Tried these as well as Reebok, UA, Bates, waiting to try 5.11. My job requires a comp toe black boot. Others have been uncomfortable in the zipper, heel, along stitching and eyelits. These are comfortable boots and will put them up against 5.11 arriving tomorrow to make the final decision.
Very strong and high endurance.
I purchased the boots for construction work and all of the leather in the front has come off. Besides the leather the boots are a very good shoe.
It's where resistant as promised, fully payed Steele toe, even got extra pair of insoles they are extremely comfortable. Excellent for heavy duty work it's also slippery resistant.
I use these for riding boots, and so far so good. I used to use the 6 inch ones, and those little boots informed my purchase of these. So I ended up laying down my scooter a few months back and it came right down onto my ankle. The little 6 inch boots kept it from being a way worse situation. So far, these boots appear to be of similar quality. The break-in time is very fast, but it always is with duty boots. The waterproofing insofar has not failed me, and the support provided by the memory foam insoles (which you have to put in yourself) is wonderful. It's like walking on a cloud. The wide width is also spot on, and not like others that claim to be wide, but are just a hair off medium width. I'll be buying Propper boots as long as they make them, I think.UPDATE: These boots didn't make it a year. The inside lining above the heel has completely worn through and now they're difficult to put on. I'm going to buy actual motorcycle boots. Yes, they're comfy. Yes, they're still waterproof. But why in the heck are Hanes socks too much abrasion for the inside lining of COMBAT BOOTS? Super disappointed 😞
I absolutely love these!!! I walk about 15 miles a day and deliver mail!! If you are a letter carrier I highly recommend!!! And NEVER get my feet wet even through a tropical storm!!!
