These are good strap sandals. I'm used to slip on/flip flop style shoes, but these were OK. They slip on fairly easily (though you do need to use your hands to get them on and off – they don't just slip on/off). They have been reasonably comfortable so far and look OK. There's nothing super special or super comfortable about them – they're just average. If that's what you're after, then these are for you.
I wanted a pair of sandals that I could wear to the sandy Beach, but I'm not a big fan of flip-flops as they just don't stay in my feet well. These sandals seem to be a great solution. They strapped friendly to my feet, our comfortable, but are also open so they won't collect a ton of sand.The only downside I should mention is that these are listed as being trail running sandals. The soles are relatively flat with basically no arch support. I'll wear these to the beach and probably some other times on vacation, but I definitely would not wear these for running.
