I caught my unicorn!
The style of these Pumas is so retro and cool. Look at their shape - they are absolutely perfect! They really look great with black jeans. And FINALLY a pair of Pumas wide enough. I've wanted Pumas for so long, but they were always incredibly narrow. These looked like they might be wide enough, and they are! I wear a woman's 8 wide/men's 7, and I often buy big kids' 7, which saves money - and they're often the exact same style as the adults. These were certainly more affordable because of that. The black is SO black because these are real suede leather. I've found that Puma uses real leather and suede materials vs Adidas, which are almost always PU "leather." Be sure to read descriptions thoroughly if you want quality, breathable, lasting shoes. These also have a sole that rounds up in back, which makes them good for driving - so the back of your shoe doesn't get dirty. It doesnt show, though, because its the same black as the suede. This style is flat with very little insole padding, but I still find them quite comfortable. They're almost zero drop, so those who are used to "barefoot" shoes, like I am, should like them. There's just enough room for a thin insole if you need one, but the flatness is part of the look. It looks like you're really "grounded." If you're used to and love those thick, squishy soles, these may not be for you.I've purchased several pairs of retro-style shoes from New Balance and Rebok, and I've loved all of them. But these? These are the ones, guys, these are the ones.
