Great wide fit and good gun sole perfect for indoor courts.
I am an avid racquetball player and play for 4 to 5 hours every week consistently. These Python shoes fit nicely, are reasonably priced, provide good traction and have held up without any tears or rips for almost six months now. Clearly they are made from robust materials and I'm very satisfied with them. As a point of reference, I have owned and used other racquetball shoes that came apart after only 3 or 4 months of use.
Lovely, comfortable pair of shoes for casual outing. Not so much for sports. I feels a bit too bulky and heavy for playing in. Provides good traction too. It is indeed wide width, too wide for my wide feet though. Size (apart from width) is accurate.
I bought these for racquetball, but with concerns because my totally flat and wide feed always mean I have fit issues with shoes. Buying without trying on is always a bad idea for me. I normally wear New Balance shoes in a 4E. These Pythons say they are 2E width, but they fit more like a 4E. Fit is not tight, it is nicely snug, and the toe box gives just the right amount of room. Construction is really nice as well. All stitching is tight, and all seams are clen. The arch support area is not totally flat, but low enough that it is super comfortable for me, and the grip on the wood courts is terrific. I am absolutely happy with these shoes, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone with wide, flat feet like mine.
I've had these shoes for less than two months. This is the poorest quality shoe I have ever owned. I have been playing racquetball for 14 years. I thought I would give the Python brand a try. Big mistake. While breaking in the shoes for two weeks, I had bruised ankles from the hard rubber at the top of the shoes. My feet were sore for most of that time. Also the rubber is coming unglued at the toe of the shoes. Sorry to be so negative, but it's the hard facts. Don't buy this shoe.
I play pickleball six days a week. I always extensively research footwear, in this case pickleball court shoes, to insure I buy just the right shoes. I examined all well known brands as well as brands I’m not as familiar with and determined, based on reviews and shoe description, that the “Python” shoe was the best shoe for me. I’ve used them for three weeks and found them to perform very well on an indoor concrete court. I’m able to turn and go side-to-side with ease. Back peddling is also an easy movement and they are relatively light weight. I’m almost 70 and about100 pounds over the recommended weight for my height, so I say this with great surety that these shoes perform exceptionally well and afford great footing, grip, and stability on the floor. They actually assist me in maintaining a balanced gait especially during quick movements on the court. The only thing I didn’t like is that they are not made in the U.S.A. Overall and without reservation, these shoes enable me to play at peak performance and I highly recommend them and they only cost me $99 bucks. VRM
I have small but wide feet (7.5 4E). It's difficult for me to find footwear that is wide enough. These sneakers are great. I'm on my second pair of these sneakers. The first pair lasted me a few years. There's not much arch support, but I didn't expect there to be much. My prescription orthotic fits very well. The toe box is roomy. My toes love these sneakers.I'll definitely buy these again.
