The QIV MID CALF FALL RIDING BOOTS FOR WOMEN have exceeded my expectations in every way. They are more attractive, more comfortable, more durable, and better quality than I was expecting, given their very reasonable price.The style reminds me a lot of the Frye boots I used to want but couldn’t afford.  The vegan leather on these boots feels soft and supple.  The manufacturer has done a good job of marrying the soft pleather at the ankles to the stiffer pleather needed to form the boot to your foot.  These ankle boots stay up and are wide enough to tuck jeans down inside of, which is how you keep your bell bottoms from catching on a motorcycle.These are practical everyday wear boots that feel a little bit luxurious.  I really like them and like the deep, rich reddish-brown color I ordered them in.These run about half a size big, which allows for the thicker socks you will probably wear with these boots that are both rugged and attractive.

Run a little big

They look great and are soft inside. They run a little big, I normally wear a 9 but these are pretty loose on me, however I'm not sure I could have used an 8.5 because they might have been too tight. The coloring is beautiful on these boots. The main drawback (other than not fitting me) is the smell! They smell like some type of chemical. I don't know if that will disappear over time, but sheesh, opening the box the first time was awful! I did not notice the smell when I put them on and walked around my house, so it isn't so strong that it 'carries' up. Unfortunately I won't be able to wear these since they are too loose but I'll give them to my sister and see if she can use them.
