Great boot!
I LOVE these boots! Very comfortable. I did order a half size up, & they fit well. May not be enough room for a thick sock, however.

I LOVE these boots! Very comfortable. I did order a half size up, & they fit well. May not be enough room for a thick sock, however.
Sturdy, good quality, and value forMoney! The sizing was really tight. Size up when ordering!
I bought these boots to go on a hike in Yosemite National Park. I received them four days before the hike so I started to wear them to break them in, from the moment I put them on they fitted perfectly and they were so comfortable. The hike was very challenging and these boots did a great job keeping my feet comfortable. The price is also worth it. For as many times I banged then against rock they barely got any damage to them.
This is a nice looking shoe.
Very comfortable shoes! I love them!
I have not had anything more substantial than cross-trainer sneakers for a few years so I may have forgotten if this is the norm, but I would normally get US Size 10 or equivalent, and since there was no size suggestion tested against a population of correlated orders for these I went with that. A 10.5 would have been better, as these JUST fit, right to the tip of the big toes and snug at that.Unless hiking boots (light duty though these may be) should be form-fitting to avoid blistering due to sliding around? Well, luckily with some urban hiking (walking around the neighborhood as I typically do to get away from the standing desk) I have broken these in and they have become mostly comfortable, literally yesterday. So that has been 36.4 miles according to my GPS measurements, over less than a month almost daily, concrete sidewalks, asphalt parking lots and some street, mostly level, not much challenge other than the very-firm construction of these boots, making the first half of this break-in period actually a little bit painful. Well, maybe tiring is the word, it felt like they were literally working against me for the second half of each day’s outing. I would advise against receiving these, unboxing, and headed out on a real hike, definitely. The souls look almost un-worn so far, I guess that would be a good sign (I have had some, shall we say economically-priced sneakers that would already be worn down at this point, so these are looking great), and aside from the need to really break these in for base comfort while moving (and to stretch out the static fit), I found they were not drying 100% overnight (note Vegas, yes a desert, also has a monsoon season, which we are in, so higher humidity… like most other places in the US and beyond, most likely), I happened to have some diatomaceous clay sticks, with one placed in each of the boots and thereafter much less internal humidity. Proper absorbent shoe trees would probably be better in general, hiking boots, sweat, and trail water all come together at some point.Overall, with the need for nontrivial break-in, these seem like a great value. Should I have gone with a half-size bigger? My sense is the form fit is better if there is “real” hiking going on, unlike the urban hikes around town or even going to the gym. I would go with 4 stars because of this unusual out-of-box experience, but I am going to assume for the sake of off-road hiking that the mindset must adjust with the construction and materials of this footwear, so 5 it is.
these held up to waterproof weather conditions well and kept my foot dry, they are decent quality and a pretty good value though the materials feel a little subpar they held up well we have taken several hikes with these and had no issues.
