Amazing Summer Hiking Boots!!

I took these boots on a two day hike on my first hike on the Appalachian Trail in 80 degree weather. I wear a size 8 and they were true to size. They were comfortable and light for all day hiking. The trails were extremely rocky. These boots protected my ankles and gave me stability. I was worried they be too much for hot weather. They kept my feet cool and dry. No blisters or uncomfortable rubbing. I can’t believe the price I paid for these for the quality. I didn’t get them wet so unsure about waterproof. They came with an extra pair of inserts and shoe strings. You don’t have to pay $150 for a pair of boots. These boots are worth every penny and more.

The WORST HIKING SHOE/BOOT EVER

The worst hiking shoes ever! I usually wear my OBOZ, which are so comfortable and durable that I can hike and walk in them all day, but I couldn't find them. I looked online and found all these great reviews on these boots, and the price was amazingly good, so I bought them for my Yellowstone Hiking Trip. Wow, these things hurt my entire foot from the ankle to the top of the foot to the bottom of the foot. I got blisters on the top, and I wear a 6.5 size shoe, and they weren't big on me, and they should have worked. I returned these boots and can't believe the reviews on these. They are the worst I have ever worn! Maybe my feet were barking at me for not putting my OBOZ on. Oboz are the best for hiking, they need no breaking in and feel like walking on a cloud when you put them on. I wear the Oboz Bridger for women. Pay the extra money for the best hiking shoe and boot ever, Oboz Bridger.

Weird fit/not good for rocky areas

The shoe was immediately comfortable. They are HOT. I tried cooling socks and they don't work. I had to use inserts to get arch support. While that made my toes pinch, my heels still came out of the back. That's a weird place for a shoe to be loose. Time will tell if they are good hiking boots. I will update.Update: terrible hiking shoes! The sole is super thin and flexible. I felt every rock and the shoe turns easily and foot was just all over the place. I really thought I was going to fall and get hurt.
