Absolutely great buy for your little adventurer!
I can't give these high enough praise! I know the idea of spending $40 for kids shoes is a bit weird to some; but trust me these are worth it. Get them a couple sizes bigger than needed and you'll get years of use for your little one. We got these for our 6 year old for Christmas and he wears a size 11 (got 13) and he's comfortable wearing them. Bonus is that he can wear thick socks for winter. They're very sturdy, have amazing tread on them to help your little one go anywhere, and fit extremely well. Our 2 year old (size 6) has stole them on several occasions and worn them around the house, so we plan to get him a set as soon as he gets a little closer to the sizes that are available. Great value, great functionality!

Adorable, high-quality hiking boots for kids
I never realized how difficult it would be to find actual hiking BOOTS for the kids. There's really only a few brands available, and most of them cost over $50. Not ideal for growth spurts.These boots kept coming up in my search and they are terrific! A great fit for our 9-year-old, with room to spare (for thick socks). And the ankle part is actually comfortable on her -- perfect for all-day hikes. They do seem to be waterproof as well, after tromping through a creek on our last outing. No wet feet!The treads are durable and substantial and I expect these to last until she grows out of them. Highly recommended, especially given the price point!

My son loves these.

Really "grown up" hiking boots
My grandson absolutely loves these boots, and we couldn't be more pleased either. They have great padding, they fit him high enough to provide real ankle support, and those treads will grip anything our woods and stream will throw at him. We live in a very rural area, so walking through muddy fields and streams is an every day occurrence here, and the fact that these are waterproof is a huge plus for us. They're easy for him to pull on and off, and the eyelet hooks keep them snug at the top. They are REALLY well made, and honestly we have paid more for less functional boots. Well worth the price.
