The most hard working sandal out there.

I think I reviewed this product already but... These Rainbow sandals have been a constant in my life. I've worn them since the 70s (3 pairs or so only since then). They were advertised as "We will replace them if the strap breaks before the sole has worn through". The strap breakage has never happened. My last pair had a big hole in them but still were wearable. Can't say enough. An excellent product that's as good as it was 50 years ago.

End of Life Review. Lasted 2 years with almost daily wear.

I'd rate these a 7.5/10 overall.They lasted just over two years with almost daily wear. I initially bought them as emergency "throw away" vacation sandals a few years ago. I didn't have time to break in a new set of leather sandals, and my old rainbow's strap finally gave out, so I bought these foam versions. I like them and they had a good run, but I'm going back to leather.Pros:- Super comfortable/soft- No break in period- Cheaper than leather rainbowsCons:- Not as much support or thickness as leather rainbows- Some might not like how fast they wear out vs the leather versions

Don't let the haters dissuade because they don't know how to care for them.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Had these just over a year and they are just now starting to show signs of wear. I've had the OG leather, hemp, and now these. Each have their pros with the leather being the most sturdy but longest to break in (unless you wear in the shower for the first wear or two), the hemp is great but will rub your feet raw until broken in, and these take no break in, but are very soft and once used for a bit, you feel every inconsistency on the ground you step. I will be buying another pair when time to retire these (daily wear in and around the house as well as out to the water), but can't decide if I want to go with other materials first. Remember, these are foam and will distort in direct sunlight. All the complaints about being unwearable comes from leaving them in the sun. They will dry just as fast/well in the house or while wearing them (I step out of the shower into these with no issues).

Excellent low end Rainbows

I wore one pair for years of Rainbows and liked them so when I needed a new pair I looked and found this version. It's not got the fancy leather or decorations and is nicely inexpensive, but the sole is well made and firm enough to support while the toe hold is well braced and smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend, especially if you just need the occasional sandal on vacation or martial arts training wear.
