Good quality boot at a higher price
These boots are well constructed. The color is true and the fit appears to be true as well. The leather is decent and feels of good quality. The boots are quite comfortable to wear right out of the box. The stitching is very good and the boot should be very durable. The insoles that come with the boot are comfortable as well. I wore these for work and had no issues. I tend to walk a lot at my job (at least 3 to 4 miles/ day) and my feet were comfortable the whole day. The tread is minimal for this shoe but works for what I need it for. I normally wear a size 10.5 but tend to buy wider shoes, because of my issues I ordered a half size up (11) and had no issues with fit.The boot has stretch material on both sides of the boot. This allows you to slip into the boot quite easily. There is a leather loop at the back of the boot I had to use to get my feet into the boots.I was impressed with the quality of the boot but I must say at the price they are advertised ($179), this seems a little high to me. I'm almost tempted to deduct a star because of the price but didn't. I would expect better tread at this pricing. But even then, it would still be one of the pricier options.I expect to get some use out of these boots. If I notice issues with comfort or durability, I will update this review.
