Good Lower boot.
These are for work and they are shoes with ankle support. Basically lower boots. They are comfortable, loose enough fit, and very sturdy for an overbuilt outdoor shoe. I have sensitive feet and I can’t use the company shoes they provide. I have a seize 14 shoe and I have at least a D width. They are breaking in very comfortably. I would consider a shoe inset. It may take up some room in the shoe but the boot has inserts that are ok but not enough. This boot is not a leather military boot so the durability vs comfort factors in. This boot is an over built shoe with a hard rubber sole. I would say ok for cops but not for construction. Although that should be ultimately your decision.Good Luck.

Nice, durable, and comfortable!
I needed an all black work shoe for work and found these 2 years ago. They have been great! They ard comfortable and wearing them every work day since I bought them they have been very durable. Admittedly, I work mostly indoors but was also impressed with the slip protection on the bad weather days going too and from my car. I would recommend these shoes for light duty work.

The fit true to size with extra room.
I like the look and feel of these boots. I have a wide foot so they actually fit perfectly. The issue I had with these was the thread starting coming loose in front with holds the boot together. So they material wasn't as expected. The memory foam is great in the sole and comfortable. It definitely doesn't feel like a traditional boot. You can run in these. They should upgrade with better materials.

They are light and comfortable, I bought these twice in 2 years, the problem is have with them is they fall apart within 7 months, I work in automotive, they do slip still on the floor but to be designed as a light weight work shoe they don't hold on for the cost they are

Comfortable and lightweight
I was looking for some type of flexible and tough shoes on here. Came across adidas and other brands but one thing that companies that always manage to mess up is the witdth. Companies always seem to have normal size shoes and not for those who have a bit of a wide fit. I thought these shoes were going to be the same considering offering the wide option but i was wrong. These were one of the best shoes that I've bought on here. Not only are they comfortable and lightweight but they have enough room for my feet that sometimes i feel like I'm not wearing any shoes. If you are the type of person who has a hard time trying to find the right pair of shoes because of the lack of room in the toe box, i think these are a great pair that you should give a chance. I just started wearing them so durability is another subject for a later date.

Don’t waste your money.
Update on 3/13/2019I have several different boots for work and after wearing these about one to two times a week for the past half a year (30-40 times) the inner lining started to wear down above heel area. Other boots that I’ve had did the same thing but not as soon as these did. And the soles still need better padding. Spend a little more money and buy something that’s better quality. I’m still searching for that quality work boot.These boots look quite sharp and are very light. However, the sole seems to be made of a composite type of plastic of some sort. I'm guessing that's how the boot is lightweight. While the boot is fairly comfortable right off the bat, the sole doesn't cushion as well as a rubber one like sneakers. I wore them for the first time for a 16 hour shift in my L.E. job and after about 9 hours I started to feel the effects of the non-cushiness of the sole. I suppose I can wear them only for 8 hour shifts and be okay or else maybe add some good quality inserts for extra padding.
