Fantastic shoe, but.......

First of all, this is a GREAT shoe! For anyone doing CrossFit or HIIT workouts, these shoes are great. Lifting is also amazing in these. The grip on the outside sole is great as well. However, with good comes bad.....for some people. If you have very wide feet or just like more room in the toe box area, these are fantastic. I have narrow feet, and flatter arches. For me, these did not work.In regards to sizing, size down 1/2. I usually wear a 8.5 in Nike's but I got a 8 in the Nano 9's. With that being said, you may also add an insert. I did this and the shoes worked great, but it made the shoe almost too small. I like a good 1/2" between my big toe and the end of the shoe. If I had gone to a 8.5, it would have been too big. Check out the sizing chart carefully before purchasing.Unfortunately the toe box was still too wide. I also have tibial shin splints and plantar fasciitis. I was really hoping that these would work, but they did not. I loved everything about them. The color, the fabric on the outsole of the shoes, but that darn toe box just wouldn't work for me. Also, I noticed how much room at the top of my foot there was. WAY too much room there, which is why I used an insert. It did help, but unfortunately made the shoe a lot heavier. I would recommend these any day over Nike Metcons. Nike Metcons are great for straight up lifting because the heel is so hard it digs into the floor well. The stability of the Metcons are great for that. But the Metcons have a tendency to cause shin splints and plantar fasciitis. So keep that in mind. I found that out the hard way.Rumors I have heard are that the Nano 8's work a little better for narrower feet.So in conclusion, if you are doing straight lifting but have narrower feet, I'd get the Metcons (just be sure to get an insert for those HIIT days). If you're combining a lot of interval training and weights, Nano's are your best bet (just be sure to get an insert if you have more narrow feet). Or if you're like me and need a good shoe for lifting, HIIT, cardio, and something to help with shin splints and plantar fasciitis problems, get the Inov8 F-Lite 235 V3. Just know that if you do get the Inov8, don't plan to lift anything heavier than 500lbs. If you're going to lift that much, invest in a pair of power lifting shoes. I got my Reebok Power Lifters for $50 here on Amazon.

BEST SHOE EVER!

I've had foot problems since birth, club foot, crooked knees, you name it. Had plantar faciitis as an adult, and over pronate. I have learned to buy quality shoes and spend the money, or my feet, hips, and back will suffer. I have been doing boot camp workouts and am beginning crossfit so I wanted to make sure I had a good shoe. Nobody in town carries this shoe so I took a chance on ordering online. This shoe fit the requirements of what I need for my foot issues and for what I do in th egym. I went with a half size smaller, I wear a 9 in most other shoes. They fit perfectly! Plenty of room in the toe box, and walking in them was like being barefoot with support! I practiced squats, which always tests my foot stability, my feet stayed flat centered on the ground! These are the most comfrtable shoes I've ever worn! I said the same about the Alegria's I wore during the plantar faciitis treatment, and for just every day those are still tops, but these may take their place! I'm ordering a second pair so I have one for everyday out and about. And the colors are pretty spot on to the pics.***UPDATE*** Wore them for boot camp today and my feet felt secure, stable, and my knees weren't hurting afterwards! Walked through the grocery store after, they are super comfy! If you're on the fence, BUY THESE!

So good for HIGH Fitness!

I do something called High Fitness, which is a cardio and body weight workout with lots of squats, lunges, burpees, lateral movements, and some dancey moves thrown in the mix. Anyway, I also have very pronated feet, so I needed something that would provide stability for the types of movements I do in my workouts, but also be a good pair with my orthotics to support my pronated feet (make sure to remove the original inserts to make room for orthotics if you use them). And these fit the bill very well! I feel much more stable and supported in the movements I do.I showed these shoes to my podiatrist who, after a thorough inspection, was very impressed! He said Reebok is not normally a great shoe brand, but these CrossFit ones he really liked. These shoes felt a little clunky at first because of the features that make them stable, but it didn’t take long for me to get used to it. Definitely worth the trade off. Also, if you need an orthotics recommendation that will go well with this shoe and can be purchased here on Amazon, I use power step pro protech control with the “heel cup with 2 degree medial heel post”. The heel post makes a big difference for pronation. These were recommended by my podiatrist.

Best shoes!

I run and lift. These are perfect for both! It has great traction but is flat and stable for lifting. I usually tear through my shoes for reasons unknown to me. These shoes are very durable. I usually run the soles down, without any of the seams separating which has happened with every other shoe I have owned. The size does seem a bit bigger but I think they are meant to be that way. The toe box is rounder which is great because when lifting heavy loads your feet press into the ground and u have plenty of room for your toes to....expand and evenly distribute weight. I'm on my 3rd pair. For some reason tho when converting women's size to mens size (for different color schemes) the mens sizes just doesn't feel the same...maybe its just my feet?
