These are not the sneakers with a wedge heel; straight up BB sneakers.The cold grey/cotton candy pink/acid yellow color scheme is such a reminder of the late 80's Miami Vice colors. And they're such a throwback to the old school Reeboks style but with brighter colors.For me, it's true to size even though the toe is narrow and fits with medium thick socks.Perfect choice to go with all the chartreuse clothing that's popping up in the clothing stores.
Item arrived on schedule and outer box intact; however the shoe box was a bit beat shall we say. The shoes were in perfect shape; not worn or used, so it's just a matter that these had possibly sitting on the shelf and tossed around for some time? Who knows. Anyway, it didn't affect the shoes; no damage to them. I wasn't sure about these shoes, as I'm not a high top shoe fan and never have been. I have hiking boots that cover the ankle and that's the extent. I ordered a 9.5 (normally a 8.5 or 9 depending on brand) as that was the only option and figured I'd just wear a thick sock if need be. They arrived and low & behold, fit, were nice and roomy without the sock and I was able to wear a brace that was required by my doctor in order to get out of the medical boot I'd been living with due to a broken ankle. I wore these all day without socks and a compression brace; no blisters or anything uncomfortable. My only complaint is that they really accentuate the ankle by that meaning they're bulky in my opinion but it's a high top; and it's protecting my ankles with some stability/padding. I received many compliments, so they get some attention. I'd recommend trying them out if you're on the fence; you might be surprised!
The look, great. Size, perfect. Comfortable? Not that much. I mean they’re great for a few hours, or even the whole day if you aren’t gonna be walking all day. So, if you’re planning to go shopping or walking long distances, don’t. The arch support is very little, so they become very tiring after walking some time.I mean I love them. They’re beautiful I’m just gonna have to get insoles. Which shouldn’t be necessary for sneakers.I don’t regret buying them, and I do recommend them, they’re just not five star.
The style and appearance on these sneakers are great! Love the extra height! I’m tall and still love the extra height. True to size, however after wearing them during the mid day my feet hurt so much. I only wear them when I’m willing to go through the pain for my style! But I’m not willing to. They are not being used. Maybe if I got soles to put in the sneaker that may help.Buy them! You might have a better experience! I usually have a hard time finding footwear that doesn’t give me pain.
My doctor recommended a switch to a hightop shoe for walking because of a recent re-injury to my ankle. I have had these for about three weeks and I'm still breaking them in... but so far they are awesome.Great ankle support, including comfortable padding at the back of the ankle where high tops can go wrong. Pretty good arch support. Could be stronger for my taste, but I have a ve . ry high arch so that is not on them. Easy lacing and a top hole for the laces that you can do a double back lace on to make it easy to tighten the ankle support if you need to.They look amazing as well. I've gotten several compliments on them already. Who knew?
I must admit that I saw these shoes and fell in love immediately. I have looked for them in Reebok stores all over the country and finally found them. The color is very nice, the shape of the boot is the classic Reebok and at first glance they are incredible. the problem is that when wearing them they are too hard, they are no longer soft like the classic 80's Reebok. They don't have good cushioning, the foot tires very quickly and they are not good for long walks. If they fix the softness, they will hit the market again.
