These are great boots and hold up well, outside of heavy/general construction use. Lightweight, comfortable, and the side zip is a personal favorite. These are comparable to a Bates duty boot and offer good support and reduce overall foot fatigue. Yes the exterior foot bed needs some attention to avoid peeling, but I easily overlooked that. Nothing some gorilla glue can't fix!
So far great boots...extremely light and very comfortable with adding another insole...
Horrible quality. Within 3 weeks, the sole bottom layer starting with the heal peeled away. WIthin a couple of weeks of that and gluing back on. I noticed several white spots on the side of the soles on both boots. I thought it was paint but upon closer look the soles the rubber was chipping off and the white surface underneath was exposed. It essentailly looked like the boot soles were made of styrofoam that was painted and it started chipping off. Two weeks later the other heel peeled back as well. Keeo in mind I am currently in an admin job and not putting them through any stress whatsoever. Worst quality boots I have owned since 1986 when I entered basic. DO NOT BUY!!!
Light weight and comfortable
Firstly. I purchased at least 6 different pairs of boots trying to find one that fixed the few small problems I have with these particular (FLOATRIDE) Reeboks. Ultimately I ended up with the same Floatride boots again.Here are the small flaws to me:1. Needs padding on the inside heel. Its hard and wears through fast. A heel pad is a must. (Buy size accordingly)2. The glued on rubber sole will seperate on the heel. Be prepared with shoe glue.3. Get good work insoles.But all in all these are the only boots I will keep unless someone reads this and fills the gap.
I’m giving these three stars only because they’re one of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned, especially with a composite toe.The problem is after three months the back heel start coming apart.And instead of using a solid color rubber, they used white rubber and then painted it tan so when you scrape it, you can see the white underneath.You can see I purchased these boots twice. I ordered them again in March after they refunded my money for the January purchase, which was very considerate of them.Now here we are three months later and you can see we have the same problem again.I drive a lot, and it seems to be the right boot heel that comes apart.Check out the pictures.
Was hurting and aching all day until I got these.Float ride is the accurate name for these. The cushion is AMAZING and SO LIGHTWEIGHT.Only issue is the paint chips off the foam outsole and very quickly (within a month). Looks like white dots everywhere like you stepped in white paint.Overall not a big deal if you work in a dirty environment already like I do.
