Good - worn for 3 weeks
Good shoes matter to the spine, knees, etc. So, these were recommended from a postal employee who walks a neighborhood route (old-style with one of those giant bags of mail). The quality is good and the style is non-intrusive. I felt some adjusting happening to my knees and some neuropathy (tinging in my left foot) has diminished some. My feet have naturally adjusted a little (opening to a small angle outward instead of my slight pigeon toe gait.

The best shoes I’ve ever owned.
I’ve been buying this shoe for work for over ten years. They were previously Converse CP8101.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT AND BIGGER PAIN
I'm in security, so I have to stand for long periods of time...These are the most UNCOMFORTABLE shoes that I've ever worn in my life..From the minute I wore them the area around my big toe was sore from the poor construction of the shoe...I wouldn't recommend these for postal carriers or anyone...I bought the shoes because of the experience I have with Reebok sneakers but these definitely are not worthy to be called Reeboks! I couldn't return them because I bought them before I needed them and went past expiration...I should have tried them on when they arrived...Very disappointed! Worst fitting shoe ever. I can't wear them because of the extreme pain they cause to my feet.

Could wear them all day
Decent pair of postal shoes. I take out the inside cushion and put a dr Scholes soft gel instead. Could wear them all day without feet hurting.

Support isn't what I expected, not enough arch support and hurts after wearing a while.

Two chances given, Two times they failed to impress
I've purchased these boots from a licensed postal vendor in the past and once through Amazon. I figured the first time I received a poor pair, but after the second, there's a clear pattern. All of it leads to an expensive disappointment, and forced me to look up the anatomy of the foot to properly describe the travesty these things caused.Firstly, the tongues on the shoes would slide off to the side heavily, resulting in an improper fit. Next, the base of the tongues would aggressively rub against my foot, causing painful sores and form callouses near the exterior hallucis longus tendon. The sides of the inner shoe near the tongue would bunch up against each other and, without the tongue providing a barrier, would close while also providing zero snugness on the top of the foot, so your foot moves up and down inside the shoe causing it to chafe the calcaneal tendon area of the back of the foot. The shoe itself wears extremely quickly regardless of the surfaces I walked on, and if you dare allow them to become even slightly damp, you might as well get new shoes. The sides would begin to split as the pre-school elmer's glue fails, allowing more water, rocks and other debris to enter the shoe. At that point, you could try and gorilla glue them back together, but without sufficient time to dry, it's a band-aid solution. They're water resistant against the morning dew for about 4 seconds, and then your feet are unpleasantly damp for the rest of the day. On the bright side, they don't hold the water and a boot dryer will clear them right out by morning.Reebok didn't have my preferred boots in stock is why I gave them another chance. Reebok's are superior to Thoroughgood, but given my experience with these, it's like saying the runoff water out of a waste facility tastes slightly better down stream. Giving Rockies a try next.
