Super comfy and good cushiony support
So I am 6ft tall, 185lbs and was diagnosed with mild to moderate plantar fascitis this week. I normally wear a 9.5" shoe but ordered a 9 in all 3 of the flipflops i purchased. My feet have a very high arch and when I walk my ankles tend to push inwards causing the inside of the soles of my shoes to wear faster. So I decided to try 3 of the top most comfortable and durable flip flops that are good for people with plantar fascitis (pain in the heel). The REEF Swellsole Cruisers, OOFOS Original Recovery Sandal, and the OLUKAI Ohana mens beach sandals. I am predominantly going to be wearing the flip flops inside the house when I am not wearing my sneakers with the red VALSOLE high arch support insoles (excellent supports) and will be wearing them to the beach once a year and maybe for short walks outside in the summer. Anyways after trying all 3, and all 3 fit perfectly, I decided that the winner in my case which provides the most cushiony support, good arch support, blister resistance straight out of the bag, excellent functionality, and good construction for durability are the REEF Swellsole Cruisers. They were not too firm like the Olukai Ohanas or the OOfos. They have a memory foam sponginess that really is comfortable and the arches, though not high, do provide enough arch support for my feet but of course only time will tell. Also the bottoms were not just pure soft rubber like the Oofos but they have a firmer more rigid bottom with good traction and feel like they would last longer than the bottoms of the OOfos. Now the Olukai Ohanas, which were the most expensive, do look to be the strongest in terms of durability but they were too firm and did not provide the soft cushiony support to my feet and heels as I was walking. Also because of the color scheme I ordered in the REEF's, they were the cheapest, the OOfos came in 2nd and the Olukais in 3rd. So, all in all, I think I got a great deal in choosing the REEF Cruisers as they look great, feel great, and are well constructed and am sure they will provide me with years of comfortable support and help to prevent future plantar fascitis symptoms.
