Arch support is excellent in these sandals. They look great on my feet. The reason I took off 1 star is the toes of the flip flops turn up slightly and are much thinner than the heel which gives them a bit of an odd look. It could just be my feet...but they are so comfortable I wanted to keep them anyway.

Size down for 1/2 sizes

I have rheumatoid arthritis and refuse to wear and flip flops other than Reef. Their arch support and comfort cannot be beat. However, this is my first pair of their ortho line and I’m not impressed. I wish the soles were softer with more give to them. The straps across the top of the foot are not tight enough. I do have very narrow feet, but these straps are also too tall and closer to the toes than all of my other Reef flip flops.As for the fit, I am a true 7.5 women’s shoe size and always wear a 7 in Reef. So I guess you could say their flips run a half size big.From now on I will stick to their regular line of flip flops and just be glad I got these on sale.
