I bought a pair couple years ago on vaca (they are too expensive in gift shops) and never stopped wearing them. I suffer with plantar fasciitis and have to be careful with shoe choice, especially flip flops. Wore those out so starting looking. Weird place to put an arch

Pics for reference. On the left are my favorite reef sandals, (I believe they are called zen) I have gone through 3 pairs of them, they are perfection. They fit snugly and over time loosen just to the right point without being too loose. On the right, are the new ones. The straps are already loose and rigid. The soles are thick and awkward. They make my feet look fat and they ate not comfortable. I’m going to give them a go and see if they soften up but I don’t have high hopes.
