I love a really nice leather sandal. I love the design of this shoe & the ankle strap.so I wanted to give it a gom surprised how much I love it. Very comfortable. Nice fit I like the width of the bands. A nice shoe
I originally got these in size 9 in brown, and I love them. In all of my Reef flip flops, I have always been a 9, despite being an 8.5 in shoes and 8 in sandals typically. I noticed that they were a bit longer in the 9s than they could be, so I thought I would order a pair in black in 8. The 8s fit better length-wise, but they did what I was afraid they would do - they got narrower. These sandals are already cut very narrow, and I have a slightly narrrower than average foot. So unless you have extremely narrow feet, I would recommend ordering a half size up just to get more width, even though you really don't need to for length. Also, IMHO the brown looks better than the black because of the lighter footbed color. For me, the 9s are extremely comfortable, and I would recommend them despite the sizing issues.
These sandals are exactly what I was looking for: comfortable footwear that wraps my feet firmly yet gently. I couldn't be happier with the style and the comfortability. The only thing is they don't come in half sizes and I made the mistake of ordering half size small (8) for my 8.5 feet and sadly but naturally they turned out to be too small. I returned them and immediately ordered a size 9. So if you're a half size, better round up. Other than that these are awesome!
I already owned a pair just a different color, so I knew they would fit. Definitely not the shoe for you if you have a wide foot as they do run a bit narrow. Nice squishy bottom but definitely not a shoe you want to walk miles in. Really cute with dresses or crops overall happy with reef sandals
I can see how these would be comfortable for someone with extremely thin feet. Do not buy this product if you have average or wide feet.
I originally rated these 5 stars and loved them at first. They are super cute and comfy however, if you try to wear these biking, on a walk or to a festival you are likely to end up hurting yourself. My first pair, the toe completely ripped over to the side and I ended up hurting my ankle. I thought it was a fluke and asked them to replace them (amazing customer service), however I wore the new pair last weekend to French Quarter Festival and slipped out of them upon arrival and now have a giant blood blister on my toe. The material makes your feet sweat and then you slide around in them and they don't offer much support. I'm going to keep these for beach shoes as they are great in the sand (don't kick it up) and maybe I can wear them just to short events like going out to dinner.
These are super comfortable and cute. A must have for walking in the sand or shopping as they stay in place and don't make a "flip flop" sound. More practical than cute but perfect for casual wear. Reef sandals are the best I've ever worn.
