Sparkles are scratchy on feet

Not like they were before…
I’ve been purchasing several colors of this shoe for quite some time. I work as a retail manager in a woman’s clothing store and I’m on my feet all day. Oddly enough, they work very well for me for that. I do tend to wear them out after a while, and that’s fair, I feel, because I wear them 8-10 hour days all year round. So I’m ok with purchasing new ones when the toe area becomes too loose and begins to pull out or the material comes off of the shoe under my foot.I wear the black color the most and alternate with silver and gold. The strap on the toe has a shimmer to it and they look slightly dressy and nice with dress slacks, a skirt or dress, and even jeans.Here’s the problem. Some time ago, the silver pairs began to come with a heavy textured glitter instead of the shimmer that had once been. I don’t know quite how to explain it, but it’s definitely large pieces of glitter and they irritate between the toes in a way they never had before.The picture online never changed, but the material on the shoe did. I tried multiple times to see if maybe I’d received a fluke. Nope. The silver pairs all had the heavy glitter. The other colors continued to be as they always had been.Until now. I just received a new pair of black and they now have the heavy glitter also.I’m not sure why the change. They were a really good shoe.
