I followed the seller's recommendations to order one size more if I planned to wear these boots with thick socks, I should have bought my usual size! They are larger than I expected, the loose fit looks very good though. The boots arrive wrapped in paper inside a nice box of shoes, I can tell there are of quality material and of good confection, firm seams, and the rigid sole is incredibly comfortable. The first day I used them, I had to walk a lot, they resisted a humid environment after a day of rain without suffering any damage. The only drawback is that I suffered injuries in the back of my ankles, nothing serious that wouldn't relieve after a couple of days. After that experience I started using them with even thicker socks and even with two pairs, maybe with a size less I wouldn't have these problems. The pocket is very useful, it's not for your cell phone, but you can put money and credit cards without inconvenience. I love these boots, I can not believe I got them at such a good price, although I still have a big pair, I decided not to change/return them, I recommend them

ACTUALLY WIDE CALF!
These boots are AWESOME! I’m a big girl with big calves (19”-20”) and buying standard wide calf boots don’t always cut it because most “wide calf” boots only go up to size 18”. I need extra room especially when I wear them over jeans. These fit great with a little extra room to spare! And the wide foot is actually wide to match the calf.They look way more expensive than they were! I love that in the pictures it shows you how wide these actually stretch which helped me when buying them. I’m a size 10W but I decided to size up to an 11W to make sure I had room to wear socks and they fit perfectly. Definitely worth the $40 and I’ll most likely be buying in another color!

Foot size runs a bit small. The wide calf fits nicely.
Very confortable and a great value but the soles of the boots are a bit slippery on smooth surfaces. The size does run a bit small on the foot. I was able to zip them up with pants on, my calf is 17.5in. I suggest on ordering a .5 or 1 size bigger for thicker socks. Very happy with the material and look of them.

I absolutely love these boots. They are super comfy. I was worried about the sole of the shoes because it was quite slick on the floor but after walking for a bit they seem to get a little grip. I got so many compliments on them today. Will definitely be wearing these all winter.

Excellent fit, but uncomfortable after an 8 hour day
These boots are very stylish and will fit a wide calf. The only reason I didn't give a five star review is because they will hurt after wearing them for 8+ hours because the toes are a bit narrow. Fortunately, if you don't plan to wear them like that and will mostly be sitting down, they are wonderful. I'm glad I bought them and would but then again, but wanted to inform other buyers if the long-use limitations.

Did not fit
Disappointed. I ordered the wide calf boots and I could not get them zipped up. I wish they made them about 6" shorter. I wanted red boots for my Mrs. Claus outfit.

Cute but cold
Pros:Calf is deff plus size which is nice with sweat pants. Plus the are cute with any type of pants (leggings, jeans, even baggy sweatpants)Cons:if the weather is around 35 degrees or colder even without snow your feet turns into icicles and frost bite begins even when you wear two pairs of socks (a regular pair and a warm pair)
