comfortable and well made!
I was super hesitant to order shoes online, particularly from amazon, i was afraid these would be tacky/cheap in person. I bought these boots last fall and after trudging through new england weather for several months, i'm impressed. the material cleans easily, which i was concerned about. I just rub any dirty areas with a cloth and they clean right up. they fit as expected and are very comfortable. They do stay up! i give them a quick when i hit the restroom if they start to look a little sloppy from crossing my legs, but they don't ever fall down. it's a genius design. I will say, the ties are more cord-like and do come untied, but it doesnt affect the rest of the boot because of the little stopper. sometimes i'll hear a funny clinking noise and realize i have two long strings dangling down by my ankles, but it's no big deal, the boot stays put. boots in this style will cost you twice as much anywhere else, so i can't recommend these enough

Finally boots to fit my big calves! Size down though!
I was honestly skeptical about these. The reviews were all good, but some were saying size up, some were saying size down and some were saying go your normal size. I went by the size chart and followed the size chart, I ALMOST went up a size but I decided to get my normal size which is a 9. I honestly should have gotten an 8 1/2 cause they are actually a little big in the feet. However they do fit my calves and thighs perfectly! Like I mean perfect! I immediately gasped when they slid on my legs and I could zip them up. I have been wanting thigh high boots forever and now I finally have some! They do slide down though and bunch up at the knees, but I don’t mind. I might try getting some garters or something to wear with them dresses and skirts, I don’t know how they will work with jeans, but we’ll find out. Definitely size down at least a half a size.

After reading all the reviews.. I gambled they would run small.. and they do, so im 5'8", 130.. I wear size 8 1/2 to 9 1/2..depending on who makes them. I ordered 10 to be safe (boots seem to run small for me).. and they fit perfectly cause I sized up.. and are so far compfy and feel like they have a nice suttle stretch material.. soft, beautiful, pretty decent quality for the price, and stay up without having to adjust what looks like adjustable tie clasp.. im very pleased, my daughters mouth dropped when she saw them on me, now she wants a pair... Super cute with a dress or straight pants.

Overall GREAT but Skinner/Smaller Buyers Careful
GREAT boots. Cheap enough where I can actually be okay with dirtying up the bottoms (ie, not afraid to wear them out) but they don’t look like your “hey I got these for $10 from a stripper store” boots. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that, just not the look I was going for lol) I wore them out a few times and they still hold up pretty well in the back. No stretching or tearing.HOWEVER. Those with smaller/skinnier legs may have trouble getting them to stay up. For the reason they are a little wider up top and the fact they require lacing in the back. I have fairly athletic legs and if I didn’t tie them tight enough they’d slide down within a few minutes. So make sure to tie them tight and in a comfortable spot. Don’t mark down the product down because you might have to retie them every now and then... just the price you pay for this style of boot. Even when/if they “slouch” it’s very minimal and I barely even notice.Those with sensitive skin don’t worry- the tie strands are made of a material sturdy enough you don’t have to worry about breaking but light enough where it won’t burrow into your skin if you tie it snug. Overall a great boot, especially for the price! Got many compliments and make you feel sexy while being comfortable! Wore them ALL night to a NYE party and zero blisters or sore heels!

Weird bulge on ankle
The shoes were okay. The heel was the perfect height and very comfortable to walk around in but when I put my foot in them it felt like there was still a cardboard lining in the foot part. There wasn't, I double checked. Also there is this really noticeable bulge from the zipper on the ankle. Even with me trying to keep them pulled up it bulges out. I could get past the cardboard feel of them but the bulge is just so noticeable it ruins the boots for me so I am returning.
