Width and shaft circumference are perfect, these boots are adorable and hit perfectly above the knee. I would give 5 stars but the bottom of the shoe, and the heel, are hard shaped plastic. There is no rubber grip lining. So not only are these boots obnoxiously loud to walk in, they are also very slippery on certain surfaces. Will likely be returning to go with a brand that has a rubber grip bottom
