Great simple black boots for fall! They don’t look cheap and are very comfortable. I do a lot of walking at work and they do not make me tired at the end of the day. I wore them In the rain and my feet kept dry , still looks great and are very durable Definitely recommend if you like a simple classy black boot.They go great with a flowie dress or casual black yoga pants. I like the fact the they have rubber soles so they are quiet.
*Worth the cost. Just got em. I’m 8-9 1/2 in most shoes. I like a wide toe box so my toes can assist in supporting my arches. I have a longer second toe (putting me at a larger size sometimes). I like laces: a roomy foot box but an adjustable fit.Looking for: A wider toe box but snug/ flexible fit, genuine leather, lightweight, dark brown, breathable, able to wear thin to medium weight socks, relatively all season (handling some rain, adjusting with a sock in the winter, and and not boiling in the summer), may last me 5+ years, and not over $400 right now. I love boots. I’ve tried many.The boot: Doesn’t say genuine leather anywhere on it but it smells, feels, and creases like leather. At this price point and having to use a gift card (~$50) that’s good enough for me. It’s lightweight (too many leather boots I’ve tried are super heavy). It looks and feels like such good quality you’d think it was more expensive. Love the lace and zipper option. Set it and forget it. It offers adequate support; I won’t need an insert. But there is enough vertical space in the foot box for an insert, if needed, and you can adjust the laces to accommodate the top of the foot.Meh: I don’t love the slightly purple, maroon tint but I can work with it and the pros outweighs this. I’m a deep winter, if that means anything to you, and the slightly dark, berry tint works well with my undertone.Other meh: The point where the leather meets the rubber sole (if viewing at 4” from your face) arouses concern. The seal has a tiny gap where you can see a tiny, tiny bit of the stitches. I would not be surprised if this weak point expanded in about 1.5 years of regular use and you’d have to replace the boots then. Leather boots should last longer. Kinda looks like a rain boot in some angles but leather creases should land adorably, making it a nice aging boot if it is real leather.Big sister advice: A better boot may be out there but this level of quality works very well at this price point and if you have to use Amazon right now. Don’t pay more than $80 full price (not on sale) for this. If it doesn’t last more than 1-2 years with regular use, the risk was worth the cost. If you’re price range is higher right now, I encourage you to get off of Amazon and go straight into the websites of independent sellers. Lots of quality there and easier return policies than expected from previous years (now competing with return policies at Amazon).*Will update if mayhem strikes.
I already own a pair of Doc Martens but I get frustrated at how every time take them on or off, I have to deal with laces. So I started looking for lace up boots that also have a side zipper for easy on/off. I hesitated to purchase these boots because another review said they looked cheap. My experience is quite to the contrary! When they arrived of course they didn’t have the little creases and character that come over time, but the leather is of great quality, they broke in easily and are far more comfortable than my DM’s! Plus, they look fantastic with everything! I’m typically an 8 or 8.5 shoe size and I first ordered the 8.5. They were too big so I returned and got the size 8. They fit perfectly and I walk around in them daily! So don’t hesitate - where else can you find genuine leather boots at this price? Add to cart already!
Amazing quality! If someone knows which mill these shoes are made, pls let me know. They are extremely comfortable and look high end. All that’s missing is the label. I will buy a few pairs and stock up. Very pleasant surprise!
Love these boots! I typically like a grunge style boot but since I'm getting older this style is a bit more fitting for me. Happy with the fit and quality. True to size.
These are pretty, if you don't mind them looking like $12 boots. Which they are not. The ankle twists and turns like plastic. Not uncomfortable, but cheap looking.
Fits as expected. Only have worn around the house to make sure they don’t hurt my feet. They seem good only issue it top of boot rubbing on my shin. Quality looks great.
