Beautiful boots. Like honestly gorgeous. They run big, tho. I wear 9.5, order 9.5, and they were a size too big. My friend who wears 10.5 tried them on and they fit just fine. Well-made, quality materials. I loved them, but couldn't keep them because of the sizing.
I have several pair of boots, and these are a typical fit for boots. The boot goes up the ankle a bit more, so you will need to loosen the lacings and use the heel loop to pull them on.The leather is on the toe portion of the boot and the heel portion and nicely integrates into the boot. The British twill gives this a very dressed up look, and as stated in the description, you can wear this in the office or for a casual night on the town.The lacings are not "sticky laces" so you will need to double knot these, which is why I gave these 4 and a half stars. Beautiful boots like these should have laces that do not readily come undone, but this is a minor nuisance and easily fixed.I wear a 11.5 in my shoes and this fits perfectly. I have wide feet and wore thicker athletic socks when trying these on, so thin dress socks would be perfect.Again, these are beautifully stylish boots, and you are sure to get compliments on them!
This is a superb quality leather dress boot. Nothing about it says 80 dollar shoe to me. It has a leather toe and heal designed in the style of the old wing tip dress shoes. The sides and upper are made from a fish bone pattern material that is stitched and glued to the soft leather interior lining of the boot. That lining encompasses 100% of the interior of the boot (minus the sole). The sole appears to be leather on the bottom laminated to a semi-hard foam sole material - not sure if it is actual leather. The heal looks to be laminated leather and is split on the bottom - the back half that goes to the rear extremity of the sole is leather, the front half of the heal is the continuation of the laminated leather sole. As I’ve stated in other reviews, I absolutely love buying and testing (and reviewing) inexpensive knock-offs of expensive shoe brands. This boot is a pretty good “homage” version of a similar Taft Boots model for 1/3 the price.PROs:(+) Stylish - the fabric looks great and the leather sole - with rubber inserts - is surprisingly nice.(+) Lightweight - each boot weight 1lb 2oz, making them one of my lightest weight dress boots.(+) Comfortable - I’ve only worn them for half an hour, but they feel comfortable, solid and well constructed.CONs:(-) The fake leather toe is very, very obviously fake leather.(-) Fits runs slightly small. (I wear a 12 and these fit like a 12.5 or 13. It will be perfect with a boot sock rather than a dress sock.This boot does a good job of riding the middle price range. It is a significant improvement over the boots in the $50-$60 range while looking very much like a boot in the $250ish range.The obviously fake pleather toe bumps this down to a 4.5 but not a 4. I think it will look better when it gets scuffed up a bit. I’ll update the review if there are any comfort or durability issues as I break them in.If you’ve wanted to try Taft Boots but weren’t willing to spend the money, this is a great way to take the style for a test drive. Overall, I recommend this product and will be wearing it this fall.

This pair of shoes fit really well and appear to be made of good material. The inside material is good as well. The toe and heel seem to be designed very well. The stitching is done well and there are no obvious issues seen. The laces are typical dress-shoe laces. The trim on the heel does show some imperfections as can be seen in the pics, but overall, the shoes look good and are comfortable.Overall I believe it is of good value for the cost. As always I will evaluate long term and update with any new information.
9-23-24If you follow the Ritizrn size and measurement guide you'll end up with a perfect fit.Utilizing their measurement guide, my husband normally wears a size 12 wide or extra wide so ended up going with the size 13 which fit perfectly.The natural full grain leather heel and toe are stiffer than the plaid fabric, which lined a thin layer of leather.So if you've ever worn steel or composite toed shoes you can expect the initial feeling similar to that, although the leather on the heel and toe are fairly flexible from the get go.He had zero break in period and no sore spots to mention.They fit and walk the same as most dress shoes, except the rubber sole has more tread on the ball.They have a reinforced shank in the arch maintaining structure and support. You could actually climb a ladder in these without the arch giving way.The included dark brown cotton cord shoelaces have a slight sheen or shine to them.The removable thin foam insoles, have a thin layer of smooth natural leather making it easy to slide a socked foot in. These have a little arch support but not great.Also the upper is lined with the same thin natural leather until you get to the toe box which is lined in a sueded microfiber. The materials make it easy to slide a socked foot in or out.He's completely satisfied as an attractive and comfortable special occasion dress shoe.Hopefully my written and photo reviews are helpful, Thank you!
