Great fit, lightweight and they look great too
Have been buying Rockports since there have been Rockports and have been satisfied with my purchases from the start. These are no exception. I needed a sneaker/dress shoe for work and this are perfect. They fit great, are super comfortable and have the Rockport quality all over them. They are really light weight and I often forget that I am wearing shoes compared to other pairs I have that definitely let me know through comfort levels and heaviness.

My husband is a manager for a beer company so he has to go to several grocery stores to help his employees put stock up so he’s on his feet all day, sometimes for 12 hours. When his employees get done with their store they get to go home but my husband has to go to the next store to help the next guy out and so on until all the stores in his district are done for the day. He has tried every sneaker out there and then I got him sperrys and they would get him through half the day before his feet would start to hurt. Well I got him a pair of black Rockports after reading reviews on them and he came home the first day after wearing them with a smile on his face. He loves them!! He loved them so much I went a head and bought the black pair as well. If you are on your feet all day or you just want a pair of comfortable shoes, these are the shoes for you. I love the look of them as well. Seriously, after 5 years of trying everything under the sun I finally found him shoes that doesn’t make his feet hurt and they will last a long time, they are very well made!! Super fast delivery as well!!

good shoe but not the best
I picked these shoes up for work, I was able to wear them half a year before replacing them. Approximately 1000 hours of work, I do a bit of walking in all sorts of weather conditions hand they hold up well and I will probably still wear them around the house but the soles are finally shot. also the bottoms are just a much nicer version of the foam you get in a Walmart $10 shoe, they look like rubber but they are not. the foam does last much longer as I still have most of the tread left. other reviewers have stated that the leather on the toe area peals away. I have not had that problem yet but I can see that it could be starting. Overall a comfortable shoe, nicely ventilated even in the summer my feet stayed cool but not so much cool that your feet would freeze in the winter so they got that part right. If i have the opportunity to get these again for a nice price I probably would not hesitate.

Great shoe,but downsizing recommended.
I received these shoes recently and they fit and feel great,lightweight,and look great too.They also seem durable so far.However,Rockport seems to make their shoes a bit bigger(longer)than regular shoes/sneakers which makes sense due to the fact they are more of a dress shoe.Dress shoes and boots usually fit anywhere from a half to a full size bigger in most brands and cases.I wear an 11W in regular shoes/sneakers,and ordered a 10 1/2 W and glad I did because they fit right and still have the appropriate room at the toe.Had I ordered my usual size(11W),they would have been too long.The shape of a person's foot may also be a factor.So I would recommend ordering a half size down,but be your own judge.Thanks for reading.

Nice pair of shoes,when new, pricey, quality is poor, the so call leather, withing 2 months begings to fall apart and peels, even though I take care of my shoes, by using a good quality shoe shine. The shoe is narrow (there isn't an option to choose width), Shoe laces have to be laced loosly to give my feet more room. Sole is also poor quality. Wthin 4 months I can only wear them when doing house work, and after having this shoes for 1 year and 2 months are actually ugly, They don't age prety. But, very comfotable, and the shoe laces lightly tightened. Price is high, either lower the price or increased your quality and it will be a good pair of shoes

Light weight and breathable
These shoes are super comfortable, incredibly light weight and very breathable. I can wear thick athletic socks with them all day and my feet do not get hot or sweaty. I bought my first pair at Macy's on Sep 2015 and liked them so much that I bought a second pair on Amazon on Oct 2015. When I first saw these shoes at the department store I was surprised at how light weight they were. These shoes were actually lighter than the Asics running shoes I had on that day. My only concern at the time was that the soles look really soft and I thought these ADIPRENE soles may wear out quickly. After wearing the first pair for a month now, mostly in office settings with carpets, the soles seem to be holding up well. I don't think you should go hiking or running in them, but for the office setting or just walking around, they should be fine. The light weight and breath-ability of these shoes are its best qualities. They also go well with khakis or jeans, so they've become my go to business casual shoes. They look like casual dress shoes yet they feel like sneakers; best of both worlds in my opinion.
