Very comfortable, true to size, light weight--great choice!

I wear Rockport shoes a lot, have done so for many years. So I was pretty confident that their safety shoes would do well for me. But I am quite surprised with these shoes. All the things that you can't tell when you are buying shoes online are checked off just right with these. Size is perfect--I wear normal width and my usual size in my other Rockports, and these fit the same. The toe box has plenty of room (usually a concern with safety toes). The shoe is very light for a safety shoe. They slip on easily (my preference, but you can certainly untie and re-tie if you prefer). And they look good, too.

Comfortable, Lightweight Safety Shoes that are Affordable and have Plenty of Cushion in the Sole

I am so glad that safety shoes have improved so much since the back in the day when it felt like you were wearing 50 pound concrete blocks on your feet. These shoes are really nice. They are very light and have tons of cushion in the soles to soften the concrete that you find yourself standing on for long hours every single day. The toe caps are durable and, unlike the sardine cans of old, they offer plenty of room for your toes to breathe. The shoes have been durable so far, but I only have a few weeks of use out of them so time will tell. They also look fairly decent for a pair of safety shoes, so that's a bonus. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Very well constructed shoe that would be very comfortable, if the toe box had more room.

This is a very good looking shoe, which is quite comfortable, very well constructed and priced to match.I purchased 10 pairs of shoes during Prime Week. 8 out of the 10 were far too narrow in the toe box. This was, by far, the most comfortable and most accurately sized shoe of the bunch. Not quite as stylish as the Johnston & Murphy Men’s Upton Perfed Plain Toe shoe, which was my first choice for style. However, the Johnston & Murphy shoe is made for elves, or at least people with skinny little elf feet. Two of the 10 pairs of shoes I purchased during Prime week were Rockport shoes, the Cacey Oxford and the Truflex Work shoe. As described below, both are very well constructed BUT the Truflex Work shoe has a very narrow toe box. If you are interested in this shoe, try a wide size or add a 1/2 size.Unlike Johnston & Murphy, who have forgotten real men want comfort over style; whereas Women will break their feet in half if they like the style of the shoe, Rockport, at least in the case of the Rockport Men's Cacey Oxford, seems to have found the perfect balance between form, fit, style and function. Now, the only question remaining is durability. I cannot rate the durability yet, but I will come back to that in 6-months. Until then, I STRONGLY recommend the Rockport Men's Cacey Oxford.By way of contrast, Rockport seems to neglected size and comfort in their Rockport Men's Comp Truflex Slip Resistant Composite Toe Work Shoes. Like the other 8 of the 10 shoes I purchased during Prime week 2025, Rockport seems to have neglected size and fit in the TruFlex Work shoe. I'm a bit shocked by this. Granted the Truflex has a reinforced composite replacement for the ole steel toed work boot; however, the name "TruFlex Work Shoe" really seems to be a misnomer. The reinforced toe should have a little extra room rather than no wiggle room, especially when you consider the shoe is supposed to be flexible, or at least that is how I understood the term "TruFlex." Further, as a work shoe, it should be designed to be comfortable for someone who will be standing and working in the shoe for 10-hours a day. Unless you have skinny little elf feet the reinforced composite toe box in TruFlex workshoe would leave your toes bruised an the toenails falling off by lunch.Having said the, the Cacey Oxford and the Truflex are both very well constructed. The Cacey Oxford is true to size, whereas the Truflex is either one half size too small or not a workshoe designed for Comfort.I've been wearing U.S. size 8.5 shoes for the better part of 40 years, and never had any size issues until this week. So I don't think the size issue is with my feet, especially consider the fact that the Cacey Oxford fits very and is very comfortable to wear. Perhaps shrinkflation has hit shoe world. In sum, if you don't mind shelling out $150 for nice, well built shoe, both the Rockport Cacey Oxford or the TruFlex Work shoe are great choices BUT don't forget to upsize the Truflex! If the Truflex is available in 'wide' sizes, that may work as well, but I have not looked for, or tried the 8.5 wide.

Comfortable Lite Duty Safety Shoes

The Rockport Work Truflex Safety shoes are comfortable, reasonably stylish, light duty safety shoes. Light duty meaning, the job site requires safety shoes; however, you are an observer that will NOT be involved in the work. Given that case, these shoes are great. The meet the safety requirements, look pretty good, and dress up with Khakis or down with jeans. Nice shoe with true 8-10 hour comfort. Also, the shoes are true to size so no up or down size weirdness.

ESD fails after one month

The product was purchased for its ESD guarantee, as my son works in the defense industry and an ESD shoe is required. However, after a month of use, the right shoe began to fail the morning ESD tests. Therefore, they are NOT ESD as advertised or we just got a bad pair? It's too late to return so I am writing to let you know the product isn't working as it is advertised and as is necessary for use.

Excellent light safety shoe. (Inside concrete floor Warehouse work)

For a safety composite shoe these are great! The thing I like most is how light they are. Working on concrete for 12+ hours a day I need light shoes. These feel like regular shoes. Stylish as well. The only thing I would suggest is getting insoles that compliment your foot needs. But I will definitely buy these for my work shoes. Probably moving forward unless something unexpected changes in quality. Normally I order on Zappos however they didn’t have the size I needed so I ordered on Amazon.

nice looking, fairly comfortable, runs small

these look great. tho they are more comfortable than many of the steel toe / composite shoes out there, i do wish they were still more comfortable. the factory insole wore out very quickly and i replaced with a new set. that was an improvement but given i wear them 8 hours a day they leave a bit to be desired. runs slightly small. i would recommend getting a half size up and expect to use a secondary set of insoles as soon as the shoes come out of the box.
