My husband loves these. He said they fit well, are comfortable, and I think they look very nice on him. I've always trusted Rockport and because they are very durable and last forever. The Velcro closure works well. Absolutely great for walking up and down stairs. He took them on our vacation where there was stairs and lots of walking. Great value for the money we spent.

I tried multiple sandals for fit, comfort, and look. These had the most comfortable innards, but the insoles are too soft and do not provide enough heel support IMHO. Ultimately I returned them and kept Clarks.
Good quality, very comfortable sandals
Ok the last pair of these fishing shoes I bought my husband was about 15 years ago and they finally started to look worn. My husband absolutely loves these shoes. When he tried they on he said I don't want to take them off. He said it was like walking on air. He does wear these to the coast fishing they were wet everyday for 3 days and dried well. No cutting or scratching on his skin. The size was a great fit as most other brands. He's 71 now and comfort means everything. He has always loved Rockport. He didn't know I ordered them so when they came he was so happy. I told him he could throw his old pair away now and he said no I'll use them to do odd jobs around the house so I don't ruin my new ones. These shoes are well made and worth every penny well double every penny because I did get them almost half peice. I did choose the darker brown just because that's the color of his old ones and the color hadn't really changed from the 2 pair. I ended up being the hero last week for getting these.
This is the second pair I've purchased because the first pair finally wore out. They have improved the fit tremendously. These sandals are the most comparable I've ever had. I highly recommend these. Great price too!
There was grease all over the shoe paper, and the shoes didn't have any tags. Amazon should at least tell you if you're getting a returned item, then offer a discount! Guess Bezos can't afford that....Cons: Ordered the dark brown and it comes across as almost black. The straps covering the top and across the center of the foot are very tight, but I think they may stretch out. I'd say they run a size too small. Glad I got the wide width, or they wouldn't fit at all!Pros: Super comfy and squishy footbed!. I can see these being comfortable for all day wear once the tops stretch. As other reviews mentioned, they are pretty slippery on hard surfaces, so keep that in mind if you're on sidewalks or caught in the rain!Overall, a good shoe. For fifty bucks I'll keep them bc of that soft footbed!
