So comfy!!

As a person who has had multiple foot surgeries, between both feet, I always have a hard time finding shoes that I can wear. Especially sandals. I have pretty much had to settle for slides, and don't really ever get to wear anything nicer or cute. It is always a struggle trying to find shoes that LOOK nice and appropriate but comfortable enough to stand and walk in with the foot issues that I have. My feet are even 2 different sizes after all of the surgery, so shoe sizing is always weird for me. Surprisingly, they offer half sizes, and I was able to get a 7.5 and they fit me perfectly. I can't wear any kind of sandal or flip flop that is "thong style" or has any kind of straps that go between toes or anything. So I love the style of this sandal, just slide your feet in. Even the Velcro strap at the ankle is great because you can adjust the tightness that way. I'm sure some people deal with issues like swollen feet, etc., so the adjustable ankle strap is good. The Velcro is good quality and doesn't reach to touch the skin at all, so no skin irritation worries. My favorite thing about these is the sole, of course. If you have foot problems and have never tried shoes with the overly thick soles, then you need to give it a shot. The thickness of the heel alone on these sandals is 2 1/4 inches. It is a very lightweight, but very supportive underfoot sole. The shoe uses a special sole technology by Rockport, it absorbs shock really well, and provides great cushioning to the feet. These sandals remind me of the sneaker brand, Hokas, which are the only shoe i can stand in comfortably for any long period of time. This is the same type of idea. The shoes are pricey, but what does your comfort and health cost? I can stand in these sandals as long as I can stand in my Hokas. I can walk distances without issues. AND they LOOK nice and appropriate. They can be dressed up with a cute spring/summer outfit, or just worn casually around your yard. I am VERY picky when it comes to footwear. And I say, it is worth the investment. They're very well constructed. Easy to clean. Very comfortable to wear and walk in. I'm pleasantly surprised with these shoes & the brand Rockport.

So comfortable, premium sandal at expected price point
These sandals are SO comfortable and I LOVE them! Here's why:- Comfortable straps - No rubbing, easily adjustable- Comfortable and supportive sole - Great foot support, nice thick sole for walking and standing for hours- Comfortable footbed - the support and material feel so nice, and keep the sandal from slipping around- Ease of putting on - straps completely open without looping through/back- Color - This is a very neutral blue, easy to wear with denim (which is so in this year), but not a "trendy" color that will stick out- Quality - look and feel great- Fit - true to size. I have wider feet (bunion) but not wide enough for wide width and I was able to fit in these just fine with my normal shoe size.- Style - These are a premium sandal that are basic, so you can dress down (jeans, shorts) or dress up slightly (casual dress, skirt) and stay comfortable for hours. Because they are more of a classic sandal look, they aren't a trend that will go away tomorrow.Overall: They look to be made very well. If anything should come up with durability, I will update this review. If no update, you can assume it is sufficient and would highly recommend (as long as you are willing to pay a more premium price for a more premium sandal - worth it in my opinion as I see these lasting for years of comfort and neutral style)! :)

Limited adjustment for bunions
OK, I know it's not the shoe manufacturer's problem, but a lot of folks have bunions and we all need shoes. These Rockport brand sandals are actually super comfortable, pretty nice looking, and very well made. It looks like I will get a very long service life from them, and I can't see any individual components likely to wear out prematurely. The soles have good support with enough cushion to lessen impact on back and lower extremity joints when walking, and the upper strap does not rub on the ankle when walking. I've mostly been wearing them with socks so far, due to the cooler weather, but with or without socks I'd say the size runs true (9 in my case). There just isn't any significant room for adjustment if you have bunions, as you can see in my photos, and that's a concern because otherwise the shoes are quite comfortable. Just keep this in mind if you have the same kind of feet....

Lightweight & Comfortable Sandals
These sandals are very lightweight despite the chunky heel. These are great if you want to add a bit of height while still being comfortable. The upper strap rubs a bit on the upper part of my foot, so I need to wear them more to break them in. The footbed is nice and cushiony and makes it very comfortable to walk around in. I ordered my normal size of 6.5 and these fit true to size. The gold color is very pretty and makes these very casual sandal look a bit more stylish.

considering they were rockport thought they would have been better. poor arch support, leather not soft and supple, very un comfortable. ended up buying 3 pair Earth sandals, such a pleasure to walk in them! sorry rockport!!

These are one of those unexpected finds... I got these for my wife because she was looking for a new comfy sandal with a backstrap and just could not find one. I did not have a high level of hope since she is very picky with her shoes. Well long story short, she loves these!
