Inaccurate sizing

I'm not quite sure if these shoes run too small or too large to be honest. I ordered an 8.5 wide that was a good bit roomier than I needed (and also made my foot look big, but I supposed I can't be picky when it comes to steel toes). When I scooted my feet all the way to the front, I had close to 1/4" of space at the heel. The measured interior foot length was 9.75" (~24.7 cm). However, when I ordered an 8 wide, they were far to small. And since they are such stiff shoes, it was even more uncomfortable than your average too-small shoe. The 8 measured 9.25" (~23.5 cm). The size chart lists 8.5 as 25.5 cm and 8 as 25 cm. Overall, the 8 was much smaller than I expected for how roomy the 8.5 was on me. I normally snugly fit a Nike running shoe size 8.5 (no room to spare at all, but it's not too tight by any means). All that said, I am keeping the 8.5, because they really are pretty comfortable and cute-ish. And, having the extra room makes it easier to slip on and off without untying them. It also leaves some room for inserts if I think I need them after wearing them for extended periods of time (I usually wear inserts in most of my shoes). Several reviewers also mentioned the back being extremely stiff. This is definitely true, and perhaps something the extra size also helps with, as I don't really feel my heel uncomfortably against it. I also appreciate that the shoes are high-cut enough that you can wear normal socks with skinny jeans (instead of no-show socks) without it looking too dorky. You can still see the socks, but it's not a bad look.*UPDATE* I ended up ordering a pair of 8.5 regular (not wide) just to see what they were like. In terms of fit, that made the difference for me. I don't have particularly wide or narrow feet (I typically wear regular width but occasionally wear wide depending on the shoe), but I had ordered wide based on other reviewers' recommendation. The length is the exact same, but I think since the toe box isn't quite as wide, my feet just can't slide quite as far forward, so the fit feels more like what I would expect with an 8.5. Both would have worked for me, but I find the regular width more comfortable. Updated my rating to 5 star since I was able to get a more comfortable fit.

Small shoe details!

Just got my shoes today , they are a size 8 in women. Super cute as well as comfortable , they can match really well with jeans , throw on t-shirts and so much more. I can’t wait to wear them to work tomorrow. Definitely recommend 😊!!

Defective Shoe

The bottom of the left shoe is uneven and makes the shoe very uncomfortable to walk in. The right shoe is perfect so I believe this is a defect.

I LOVE THESE!

I have always been a 7.5 in women's shoes for my entire adult life, so I ordered that size. They were too small. I immediately submitted to return them (the process was hassle-free) and ordered a size 8, and now they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable. I haven't experienced any harsh rubbing points inside or on the edges where the shoes are in contact with my ankles. The arch support is very noticeable as soon as I put on the shoes. I ordered the navy and tan pair, and they are true to those colors. The laces are quite long, but that's not a big deal for me. I really like that you can get safety out of a shoe that doesn't have to look so manly. I'm glad cute steel toe shoes are now being made. I'm super happy with these. :)

Great steel toe boat shoe, but requires a break in period!

Love the look of this steel toe shoe. I get compliments all the time and people can’t believe they are steel toes. I used reviews to suggest my shoe size... I wear a seven so I ordered a seven wide. The width is great. But, these shoes require a definite break in period! Wear thick socks. The back of the shoes hurts and will cause blisters if you wear thin socks. The toe box seems comfortable only with thick socks, until the shoe is broke in. Be prepared that these are stiff shoes at first. I have had about a week and today is the first day I kept them on even when I get off work for several hours. They look great with capris or jeans. I am not a fan of round laces, but I found if you tie your shoes wrapping around the loop counter clockwise, instead of clockwise, you do not have to double knot them and the bow lays prettier. I just skip them on and off and so far they have not came untied with a single knot since I got them! Overall... it’s a nice shoe, but just like all boat shoes.. you must break these bad boys in.

Runs VERY small and narrow!!!

Ordered a women's 11 wide since I tend to fit a 10.5. Toe is just about touching the end and fits way too small. They're cut very narrow and the toe box is tight especially being that it's a steel toe- there's no room or give at all. toes are chafing. The shoes are not cut the same/symetrically either- the right size heel cup fits, but the left heel cup is cut a shorter across the back creating a chafing area that will blister if worn for too long. I was hoping for something better, but this is very disappointing for such a nice looking shoe!

Lightweight steel toe

I work in a warehouse where steel toe shoes are required but I was tired of the clunky shoes that I was wearing and saw these and fell in love. Lightweight compared to a typical steel toe shoes/boot. Super comfy, never had an issue and have been wearing these for a few months now. I have wide feet so the wide width was a great plus!
