My Go To Work Boots - Problematic Feet
These are the best work boots that I have owned in the past 25+ years. I'm on my feet all day and walk a minimum of 5 miles a day at work. I have purchased dozens of boots in the past and most have been thrown in a bin in my basement after 1-2 weeks. These boots are super comfortable and extremely durable. I've spilled diesel and gas on them without any issues to the leather. Even after a year of use they're still waterproof. I originally immediately replaced the insoles with Dr Scholls which was a huge mistake and I reverted back to the original insoles. The included insoles have a lot more padding and are extremely comfortable. Only issue I have found is that they are not wide enough for my very fat/wide feet. I used a shoe stretcher to widen them and they are perfect.I had an issue with the stitching on my second pair after 11 months of use and their customer service was exceptional. I have recommended these boots to everyone at my job.Bottom Line - If you have very wide feet you'll need a shoe stretcher but after that they're perfect. They helped me get rid of corns, knee pain, and lower back pain.

Best Work Boots on the Market
I LOVE these boots. 10+ Comfort and Fit(If you have wide feet like me you will love the space in the wide sizes). I've waited for a couple of weeks to write a review on these boots just to see how they would hold up. I'm a Truck Driver in and out of muddy/wet conditions and these boots are holding up to the hard conditions I've put them through. These boots are by far the best work boots I've worn and will never look at purchasing any other brand other than Rock Rooster. Customer Service is great to deal with also.

Medium duty soft toe workboot
First let's be realistic, these are light to medium duty work boots. So if your a pipeline welder, a 1000 acre dairy farmer, or a heavy equipment operator they aren't going to hold up. But if you putter around on your 5 acre plot on your john deer, taking care of your 3 horses, and you work on your own equipment and cars these are the boots for you. I'm an old guy that has worked hard (farm, military, construction), retired now. These boots are very comfortable (bought 10.5 Wide), and hold up well to light work (so far). They fit old guys fat feet. Old guy hint: any company that markets the same work shoe in mens AND women's size will never fit either comfortably. You know the shoe that sez it's size 7 mens or size 9 women. Our feet and bone structure is different.Back to boots, easy to slip on and off, I have walked 2 miles in them an comfortable, old guy climbing over stock gates, and all is well. Plus if you don't mess them all up in the manure and mud they are pretty good looking, you could ware to church, out, and about.

Overall, these are great work boots. I work in an oil-filled machine shop with a lot of foot hazards. These are perfect for that environment. I like how I can slip them on and off without a lot of effort, but still have great support and comfort. About comfort. The only dissatisfaction I have is they rub the back of the leg just above the heel. The first day wearing these boots, left me with bilateral open sores from abrasion. It's best to wear a thick tall sock. This is an area the manufacturer should look into and correct.

Pleasantly surprised
I work on my feet on concrete, 10-12 hours a day. I've tried so many boots, from too many manufacturer to count. Only underarmor Valspar (cop and paramedic approved) seem to hit all the buttons, but they're hard to get on/off, the laces stink, and they don't last. These are easy on/off, broke in easy, can use medium or thick socks, no feet sweat and super comfortable. NO FOOT OR KNEE FATIGUE. I'm between 10.5/11 in most boot sizes. I have a high arch narrow foot. The wide only was a concern. I got the 11, but with regular inserts fit just fine, and width not a problem. Fits more like a quality whellie/muck boot than a combat boot. I wouldn't go hiking in these, but looking forward to getting a smaller size and trying for casual wear, and for the price point, well made and a pleasant surprise, wish I would have come across these 5 years ago.Update: 8 months later and holding up like a champ. No visible wear or tear. Very happy and impressed. Gonna get another pair for around the house workUpdate 16 months: just starting to slightly crack and replaced inserts. For how often I'm wiping these down with cleaners to get the spilt ink off them, I'm amazed. Got a brown pair w/o rubber toe for gardening, going great,10.1/2 size fits fine, but still wears like a boot. Got same type different manufacturer (Danner, ON SALE,) that fits more like a running shoe,buy I only use those for liesure. (Longevity suspect). Will be buying another work pair of rock rooster, In another 6 months? 😀

Don't waste your money
I don't normally post reviews but just wanted to warn others not to waste their money on these boots. Absolute garbage. Purchased March 17th 2025 and as of July 1st 2025 they are completely falling apart. Took two painful weeks to get them broken in around the ankle/lower leg and now the toes on both boots have separated rendering them completely useless.

I think these would be a perfect beater work boot at ~$65, but not at 110, so i returned them. I wanted these to be nice and surpass expectations, but I'd recommend to just spend some more and get a way better boot that will last. Leather is thin, cheap, and pvc coated. Permanently creased and puckered at literally 10 minutes of walking around. Doesn't speak well for durability IMO. They are comfortable and the wide toe box and rubber bumper cap are nice touches. I did do what most recommended and sized down from my half size. Was a good fit. I would consider them on a sale, but at this point a but more saving would be a smarter decision.
