Of course there stiff when there new and take a couple weeks to break in everybody wants it now! Well these boots are well worth the 2 weelks it takes to break in. These boots have to be the best boots ive bought in 30 years. Im a workin man not a showboater. Buy em break em in and you will love em. They fit true to size in my case. I will buy again and again.
Wanted some new work boots but didn’t wanna spend big money. These work very well and are comfortable. Not too stiff to break in at all.
Feel like pretty high quality for the cheap price. They are stiff out of the box but the good brands usually are. These are work boots.
Boots feels like plastic. Comfort level between 1 thru 5....is a 1. Tongue has no cushion and top rim of boots has no cushion. Overall is not worth the money. Manufacturers need to redesign the boot for more Comfort.
I work commercial construction and walk on all types of terrain all day. 7-13 miles daily. Long time thorogood user here. I've been trying to find a cheaper alternative and these almost hit the mark. Very thick leather and the break in period is just as tough as thorogood boots. After that they are solid. These aren't bulky nor have a bulge since they aren't steel toe.After about a month use my main concern is the lack of being waterproof. These will not stand a chance in a drop of rain. Water starts to come in at the toe box and keeps flowing in.I'm continuing to monitor the sole wear. So far they are ok. If these can be fixed to be waterproof then they will undoubtedly be 5 stars!
Awesome boots! They are incredibly comfortable. The leather is high quality. The rubber bottom sole seems like it will last longer than the other foam soles. Though they say oil & slip resistant, they are definitely slippery on oily concrete. I like the 8" as it keeps crud out of my socks compared to my old 6". They will need regularly oiled to shed water, as there is no waterproof liner, BUT I prefer this, as those usually weigh more and are HOT.I've worn these everyday for 3 months and highly recommend.
The boot was very uncomfortable feels like it should have a heal because it turned your toes up. Something was pushing up under the left wall of my foot, which was painful. The boot is not comfortable at all just my honest opinion.
