Great purchase!
My husband works outside in South Dakota. These were perfect for the mud, snow and cold. No need to replace the insole either. He said they were very comfortable.

Just a bit too tight, the boot was not “wide” enough for my feet. Otherwise good boots
I bought this style rocky boot a few years back for hunting, man, was that 10 years ago already? the round little 'bobs' are pretty much worn down on the souls, which is the only reason I am replacing these great wearing and comfortable boots! there has been a lot of improvements made to the new model, but I am her to say that this new model is every bit as good, well maybe even better than the old model! the soul and heal are wider and give your foot a more flat feeling to uneven ground. they absorb the shock better also. the 2 cordura panels on the upper boot let the foot heat out very well.took no time to break in with one pair of wool socks and one pair of sweat socks. great boots!
Excellent winter boot. Fit is true to my requirements in size 10.
Day one, right out of the box:They fit perfect. That's because I used the Rocky size chart to figure out my size.Because all shoes fit different.I have 2 pair of Sorels. Both different sizes. My Irish Setters are a 3rd size. I hate returning things so I actually measured my foot using Rocky's chart and nailed it.They have a great arch support which I was really worried about because I just got over a year plus of Plantar fasciitis and won't wear crappy shoes anymore. I work outside every day on rough terrain which kills your feet even worse if you have foot pain to begin with.I was also happy to see that the insole is removable so that if I do decide after wearing them a while that I want to put my orthopedic insoles in I can.Great looking boot too. With 600 grams Thinsulate they actually look smaller than my 400 gram Sorel Conquests which these are replacing. They are about half the weight too.I am eager to wear these tomorrow and next week for work as we have about 2 feet of snow on the jobsites and the forecast is highs in the low teens at best all next week so they will get a good field test.I will edit my review to update my satisfaction level after a good week's workout.Day 3: I returned them for a refund. They sure looked like a good boot but have none of the qualities of their description. This boot has NO TRACTION in the snow. We went from 0 degrees to 27 degrees in one day last week so we went from hard packed snow to slush all in a day. The soles have a little traction walking forward but nothing laterally. My 20 hear old 400g Sorels were warmer than these 600g. There is no insulation in the toe. I am 58 years old and have worked outside every day of my life and have never had a problem with sweaty feet until these. My feet and socks were literally wet from condensation in the toes. Therefore my toes were freezing at 22 degrees. They do not breathe. I was totally disappointed. They would be a great boot for $30 but for $145.00 I couldn't afford to keep them. Rocky blew it on this one.
The boots are nice looking and they’re warm, they’ll keep your feet confortable, with that being said the right boot’s composite crushes my smaller toes making it uncomfortable to walk., I thought after wearing them several day is was gonna get better.I’m not happy with this product unfortunately.
The soul on these boots broke away from the bottom of the boot very soon after I received the product I did not get much wear out of them I had to throw them away I would request that Amazon send me a free pair of insulated steel toe work boots high top with an aggressive soul on them please
