Loved these boots. Had to return because they were to small.
I have purchased and loved over a dozen pairs of S2Vs. I ordered a new pair of the insulated S2Vs and the first pair I got were awful. A couple of the eyelets weren’t rivited and the soles were not properly glued. Rocky replaced that pair with a new pair. The new pair is about three months old and I have had to glue the edges of the soles back down numerous times. The insole is coming apart and isn’t glued properly and is delaminating. The rubber of the soles was not cured properly and is coming apart. The boots were nearly $300, and they of terrible quality. It’s very disappointing because I loved Rocky boots. I would not recommend these.
I have several pairs of Rocky Boots. Switched from Bates and very happy with Rocky. They have several made in the US if you check their site. I wear a 9.5 wide for all my Rocky boots so I ordered the same for these. Way way too narrow and my toes hit the end. I don’t think they account for all the insulation. It’s thick. I returned. I did buy another pair of these, but I had to order a full size larger. They are high quality and US made. Are they worth the cost? Debatable…but they are very warm and far better than the other brands you find on the store shelves. They are also a tad on the heavy side, but not terribly so. Break in took maybe ten hours of wear time, so that was nice.
Good for my wife feet
Glue is spilling out the seams. The sizing is not accurate. I ordered an 11.5 wide to try it. I wear an 11.5 regular and the wide was smaller than the regular
I have worn various brands of boots for the past 30 years. Mostly in the $100 range. They usually wear out in a couple years. One year I caught a pair of these on clearance and they have been my favorite ever since. My first pair I had for about five years but they got contaminated so I had them replaced the second pair I've had for about ten years. Still going strong. I thought I would buy one more pair before I retire. Ordered the same size, but they were way too tight. At least one size too small. Had to return them. Not sure what changed. Little worried they won't be as good. Especially now that they are $300+
