I've owned 2 other styles of Rocky Boots. They were comfortable and lasted forever. I needed some new work boots and picked up a pair of these. Have had them for 2 weeks wearing them doing excavation 10+ hours a day, and they have exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable, perfect width, and have not hurt my feet at all. Best part, no break in time. Will be buying another pair.

Comfortable, i stand on my feet for 8 to 10 hours a day. They also hold up well with chemicals, and your feet will stay dry. I usually buy Carolinas, but i think i just found a new favorite brand.
Boots are well made and the soul hopefully durable.

I purchased these as a friend who has the same boots told me that these are the most comfortable boots he has worn and that they are 'broken-in' like a well-worn boot from the day you put them on.Unfortunately for the pair that I received this is far from the truth. With the pair I received the left boot inner lining has aggressive stitching around the fold of the waterproofing lip and rubs annoyingly on my inner ankle area and I cant currently wear the boot without padding this area to stop the boot from causing pain when I am wearing them. I am also aware of the fold with the right foot boot, but the fit of the boot for my right foot is just more annoying and a bit uncomfortable Vs painful and unwearable (without padding protection) like the left foot is. I have used thick socks and thin socks with no change in how the boots feel.The boots also feel quite heavy compared to Doc Martin's or other boots I have had in the past, however they do seem very well made and the leather quality is very good so I am going to give them a fair go and persevere through the pain of wearing them and hope that they break-in over the next few weeks as my Doc Martins took several weeks to properly break-in - this said the Doc's never hurt my inner ankles at the stitched inner-tounge fold like the Rocky's are currently doing.If the Rocky's don't break-in and are still painful to wear in 2-3 more weeks I guess I have to ditch them and pay the extra premium price and try an Aariat boot. If I think of it I'll try to update this review at a later time
These boots are recommended by my son's employer for good reason. They fit well, break in quickly and protect the men's feet, ankle and leg in the train yard. They still have a 90 degree front edge where the heel joins the instep. This is a safety requirement and is getting hard to find in work boots. Given the good price on top of the Veteran's Day discount and Amazon Prime and a great product this was super purchase. Even without the discount these work boots are a great, well made, quality product, at an affordable price made with a safe non-sloped heel.
