Better than Ariat
Oilfield worker who has tried all the major boot brands and hates working with wet feet. I was buying new boots every 6 months, mainly Ariat, and had accepted this as part of the job. That was until i got these ROCKY Long Range's. coming up on a year now and they are still waterproof. I am shocked to be honest.these are not as comfortable out of the box as Ariat's and will take a week to break in... but that is a good thing. The inside of the Rocky's hasn't come apart like Ariat's do, Nor have they lost their structure and sag like most other boots do.I even bought a pair of non-safety toe to use for work around the house. They do run a little big however. Ariat I always had to wear a wide or else they smashed my toes. A regular in these - half a size smaller than your Ariat's -will fit snug and conform to your foot as they break in.oh yeah, they look great too. like a real boot. not the flamboyant colors and designs Ariat has resorted to.

I wear 10 1/2 -11s I ordered 10s fit perfect. I came back to edit my review ill give it 5 stars. The insoles tore first. But I struck them with a sharp pick axe clearing ice and that aloud water in.. if u put tough toe on them there durable work boots. I never conditioned them at all not once. I used them for over a year. They do get worn out but they lasted way longer than I expected. I am always in a wet environment with mud and mold chemicals. I work under houses building crawlspace. Good boots
