Best Rocky Boots I've ever had.
Very well built set of boots. The boots perform well in cold still hunting conditions. The outside is extremely rugged and grippy in mud and muck. The leather upper is of a high quality leather, triple and double stitching throughout with great fit and finish. I wear a 13 wide and find these boot fit true to size. They appear larger outwardly due to the thickness of the insulation. I'm surprised by the quality of these boots coming from my previous mid experiences with Rocky Boots.

Best boots ever!
Best boots I've ever had. Comfy, durable, great look and completely waterproof. Working in construction, I really put a beating on boots and these are the best. This is the 3rd pair I've ordered and will continue to order my next pair in 2 years.

My previous boot of several years was a full leather upper by Danner which is like the Canadian. I bought a BULKY boot to replace it last year and hated the rubber toe protection and the bulkiness. This boot by Rocky is AWESOME! When i opened the box and looked at the quality I was reminded of my $300 Danner boots. The leather is very nice and the soles are aggressive which I like. I ordered my shoe size as recommended at 10.5. (by luck this size was on sale for $145!!! {I would pay $200 for this boot in a heartbeat}) At first I was worried as it felt like a half size too small. I was ready to return them and order a half size bigger, but decided to just wear them to work (basically office, driving, and walking around a lot). They ended up being the perfect size! The fronts loosened up nicely in a day so don't be shocked by the initial toe cramped feeling. It goes away. I did notice that the are where the top of my foot and my ankle meet in the front, seemed to bind a bit as if I had the laces a bit tight. This could also just be that they aren't broken in yet. My feet didn't sweat even with 1000g of insulation. I'm confident in this boot's performance this weekend for deer hunting in Iowa. Cold and a lot of walking. I'll be wearing these for fall and summer hunts and working outdoors as well. Did I mention they are one of the coolest looking boots I've seen??? Great job Rocky!!! Oh. The laces are a bit short..... I'll get over it or buy some longer ones.

I got 25 years out of my Irish Setters before the sole separated. Did much research before purchasing these and after 3 weeks of use, I love them. I've put about 15 miles on them through Minnesota snow and they've been great. Warm, comfortable, and dry. They start stiff, but after a conditioning and 2 coats of mink oil, they're nearly completely broken in. Happy in my choice.
