The ROCKY mens Industrial Athletix Hi-top Composite Toe work shoe presents a modern twist on traditional work boots. Designed with both comfort and functionality in mind, this shoe effectively meets the demands of your work environment while maintaining an athletic appearance.

The upper portion is crafted from high-performance abrasion-resistant mesh combined with a TPU overlay, enhancing its durability for various tasks. Additionally, the lightweight cement construction ensures that you experience minimal fatigue, even after long hours on your feet. The presence of small reflective highlights not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also enhances visibility in low-light conditions.

Comfort is another key aspect, as the EnergyBed footbed with memory foam conforms to your foot, providing support throughout the day. The Rocky Rebound EVA midsole further aids in absorbing shock, making these shoes suitable for demanding work environments.

Moreover, the rubber outsole is rated highly for slip resistance, which is critical when navigating potentially hazardous surfaces. Well made work shoe / good as a motorcycle boot too

This shoe is somewhere between a gym shoe and a boot. it has a reinforced toe, and is very solidly built. Also, the shoelaces are light reflective, a nice touch if you use it as a motorcycle boot. They are comfortable, easy to slip on (I bought the 12 W), and they do not seem to get easily scuffed or lose their color. I wouldn't recommend it as a running shoe, but is fine for weightlifting and they gym. Very high quality materials, well built, and I'm very happy with them.

Rocky!

My husband wears nothing but Rocky brand for work boots and shoes. He says these are very comfortable and light weight. His only complaint was the younge of the shoe is not attached and slides all over when walking or moving no matter how tight he ties them. He wishes the boots tounge was stitched in like the other work boots and shoes he has.

Decent but not the best

Update: 1yr +Soles have separated on the inside of the foot on both shoes. Also, if you feed the laces through the top tab on the tongue it solves the problem of the tongue moving to the side of your foot. Tred is smooth now a little over a year in at the hall of the foot but I still have good traction. Still cozy but now I’m shopping for an alternative. When I purchased these they were $145. So with the price coming down it may be more worth the priceShort version:*Not displeased, but would not buy again*General comfort-average*No loop for laces to keep tounge in place, after a couple months this happens daily (see picture)*you can feel the base of the safety toe with your big toe after a while.Longer version:My job requires a safety toe, lots of metal detector checkpoints, and lots of walking (about 10k steps a day on concrete) and driving for a few hours a day regularly.I have always worn more heavy duty leather steel toe boots for work. Redwing, Thorogood, Twisted X, Keen (Pittsburg specifically, most comfortable work boots ever made but the sole falls off quick). My job requires a lot of airline travel and I wanted more of a standard looking safety shoe that also didn't look like I was ready for retirement. I also wanted a composite toe so i wouldnt have to take my shoes off at security checkpoints. By far the best looking safety shoes in my opinion. However, after wearing for a while I started to notice I could feel the bottom of the toe cap under my big toe. I can feel it through the insole in both shoes and if you haven't experienced this before it's like having a very small rock under the tip of your toe. I don't notice it most days, but once I do it's the only thing I can focus on.The tounge has also worn in and no matter how hard i try, I can't keep it from moving all the way to the side. I do wear thick socks at work so it doesn't bother me too much but this is such an easy thing to miss from a design aspect that I'm disappointed it's an issue at all.The soles provide good grip and the tread is very minimal. This is nice if you go between very dirty outdoor environments into clean customer spaces. You don't tread in all the dirt and mud.If I've been on my feet for 10 hours or so my feet do start to feel it, but in my experience that's unavoidable no matter what shoes you are wearing.Overall they are just ok. I don't hate them but I probably won't be buying them again when that time comes around

Not quite as picture shows

Thought these were a lightweight hi top safety toed shoe; side by side comparison they were nearly as tall as the leather work boots I was trying to replace for summer heat in the concrete/steal warehouse I’m in with no ac units. Side note you’d think OSHA would tell TARGET the small fan’s pushing the hot air around are completely inadequate by themselves 🤷‍♂️

Rugged like a boot but comfortable as a running shoe.

Extremely comfortable and tough. I wear daily for work and it’s the best I’ve ever had. I tried on many prior to the Rocky’s.

Look great 👍

Have not worn for a day's work yet. I'm planning to up date review. First concern is the tounge is free to go and do anything it wants. Hopefully it will sit still today.Update they work great 👍 👌.They are proven to be a great buy. I can work all day on the concrete without the leg pain.I did have to slightly modify the tounge so it would stay in place.Have had them almost year and I’m still very happy.
