Great boots very warm quality built
Rocky Ridgetop insulated boots. This is a nice quality built boot, 600 grams of thinsulate ultra insulation, a great outsole with lugs designed for excellent traction and are self cleaning. The boots are made of Nubuck leather and 900 denier codura nylon. Designed to last, with nice tough nylon yet still very flexible and light for a boot. They also have a very cushy insole and EVA midsole making them very comfortable to walk in. One additional feature is a very tall gusseted tongue the gusset come to within 2" of the top, assuring dirt or snow can't get in between the tongue and the laces. These boots fit a little large from the mid foot forward. I'm am a certified men's 10 D, and I might of been able to fit in a 9 1/2 (not sure) but with thick cold weather socks the fit is perfect, with normal socks and the boots laced tight everything works perfectly even though they are a little roomy my feet do not slip at all. I used these boots 3 days in a row while shoveling snow with normal socks in temperatures that varied between 2 degrees and 4 degrees fahrenheit. Never once did my feet get or feel cold even though I was outside for 6 hours each day, the boots were supportive yet flexible and very comfortable the whole time. They are also waterproof and no liquid (sun melted snow) got inside these boots nor did any snow get stuck in the treads the lugs left the snow on the ground in perfect footprints. All in all a great cold weather boot, built to last with a leather toe cap and heel that won't disintegrate over time like some of my other boots with rubber/plastic toe caps & heels did. Well worth the money and a boot that exemplifies Rocky's quality !

Warm, Waterproof, Wonderful
These boots check all the boxes for me. I needed a new pair for small farm tasks, and for attending football games in winter weather. I figured there would be a break-in period where I would have to tolerate a little discomfort, but I was wrong. These boots were very comfortable right out of the box. It hasn't been bitterly cold yet, but I have no doubt, based on testing at 20- to 30-degree temps so far, I predict good performance at below zero temps (will update if I find otherwise). They are pretty heavy, but that's the trade-off for that much insulation. I don't really notice the weight when I am in them. Noticed that the seams near the front are triple-stitched--so that ought to contribute to durability. Definite waterproof. Tested in rain and tall wet grass (no snow to try yet)--socks completely dry. Great choice of boots. Would certainly buy them again. In fact, when they wear out, I will look to Rocky first for replacement.

Good fit, warm and sturdy!
Hard to walk into a brick and mortar store during the winter and find a snow boot. As you know they start putting out swim suits in February :-) I went online and started my search. I needed a size 9 wide and a friend of mine recommended "Rocky" boots so I looked at several styles and settled on the Rocky Ridgetop 600G Waterproof Outdoor boot. The boot fit properly which was a good start. The boot is well made and comfortable in that it kept my feet warm and cozy while shoveling snow and chipping ice. I don't wear these all day -just when we get occasional snow but I'm expecting them to hold up for many years.

Well made for the price.
The boots look good and are slightly well made. I’d say a step below Wally Worlds boots. The big problem I have with the boot is how tight it is across the top of the foot. It is painful to say the least. There is also a bulge on the inside where the tongue goes into the boot. This bulge along with the tightness are what causes the pain. I can only stay in the boots about 2 hours and they have to come off after that.

Happy
Dont do many reviews but after reading some bad ones not rhere was alot. Do to a injury one foot is wider than another so I need a really wide boot. Wide was plenty for my injured foot. Comfort is no problem right out of the box so dont be scared if there is negative on either. I get one size bigger than normal so plenty of room for warmer socks if needed. They will cinche up plenty with a lighter socks. Happy with this pair as well as the others.

Nice functional boot for a limited time.
They do deliver as advertised. Waterproof, Lightweight, Excellent Grip, and Externally Durable. But, they only lasted me about 400 miles of use, roughly 10 weeks of walking/hiking, and the internal support of the boots were severely worn.If you walk in less demanding conditions, they may last longer.
