Great boots, the run a bit narrow though.

These boots are ready for work right out of the box. Extremely light-weight, breathable, and simple design. My normal size is 11.5M and these boots run exceptionally narrow. I ended up returning my original order for 11.5W. They are very comfortable although I could probably get away with 11W for perfect fit in this model of boot. There's not as much shock absorption as the C4T's, so I'd shop around before grabbing these for ruck marches. But they're great for everything else whether you're going to the range, or just getting fat on recruiting duty. NOT FOR TACTICAL USE ON ANY SORT OF POLISHED FLOOR. They squeak worse than an orgy of mice high on E. If you're pulling staff duty and trying to sneak up on a barracks party, you won't be fooling anyone.

Sizing

Nice boot, but fits like tennis shoe sizes. Most other combat boots I've worn are a size (or two) smaller than my tennis shoe size, these run the same as tennis shoes.

Went a size down and used thinner insoles for a good fit

When I first got these I got a size 9. I loved almost all of how they fit - the toe box was great, foot bed was comfortable and supportive but not overly high in the arch. Unfortunately the heel cup was both a little roomy and really dug into the top of my heel, so there is no way they would work for my feet. I got a size 8.5 and the heel fits better but the toe box is a little snug now and there's a little pressure on the upper around the ball of my foot. I plan on keeping the 8.5 but with some thinner insoles that give back a little of that room in the toe box/ball of the foot area.

Great for garrison, poor for field **update**

Very thin sole. I can feel every rock, stick, or bump I step on. Great boots for garrison use, but not very cash money for the field***edit***I wore these boots for the majority of SURT and ranger school. There are pros and cons to every boot but anyone who is interested in buying a boot like this knows that. That said, these boots are very light weight and extremely durable and best of all, they dry extremely quicklyThe cons are that the sole is thin, you'll feel everything you step on. There's not much material between your feet and the elements. I'd avoid any impacts to your feet you can, bc this boot won't help you out there.

Rocky not what they used to be

These were wide where they needed to be narrow,, and narrow where they needed to be eide. It is as if they were made backwards.. cannot understand what Rocky was thinking with the design element. Not sure if mine was defective, but the support piece near the Achilles physically cut into my foot on the right boot. I could not wear these for more than an hour
