They run small, but great boots
I ordered in my regular size and couldn't squeeze into them, especially with winter socks. I returned and bought one size larger, perfect fit! The most comfortable and easy on/ off snake boots I've ever owned. I wear them hunting all day even when snakes are hibernating because of their comfort and mobility. Be careful zipping them up so as not to get liner caught in zipper. Order another half size larger if you plan to add orthotic insoles.

Nice quality boots
Bought these for my boyfriend. He says they are very comfortable and he where’s them all the time. Zipper is sturdy and he wears them through the creeks all the time. Weight is lighter than his old boots. Great buy for me because he is happy!!!!!

Fit true to size and are water proof.
Water must seap through between the sole and rubber because you feel and hear it swash as you walk. The water takes several days to fully dry behind the leather and neoprene. They are watertight and comfortable. The zipper and velcro closure catches as you walk, would be better if they zipped on the outside of the leg rather than inside. Not worth the extra money I spent to buy the Rocky name!!! Buy lacrosse

Too small, had to wear in.
When I first got these, they were too small and tight despite me roidjigk up my size, and getting the "wide" version. After wearing them in for a week they fit much better, and no longer cause extreme pain to wear. They aren't waterproof, but are water resistant. It would take direct pressurized water to seep through however. They aren't as advertised 100 percent, but so far no other pair of boots has survived my job.I was hasty in my initial review. They are decent and useful, but the sizes may be inaccurate.

Black plastic zipper on newer versions fails, and I found the width runs narrow.
I've had three pairs of these boots so I have some experience with them. I like them since they are easy to put on with the zippers (versus laces). They are also pretty heavy duty (except for the black plastic zippers). The first two pairs were a smaller size (10 or 10.5) that I bought from Cabelas -- these fit tight and narrow. The first pair had brass colored metal zippers, but after four years or so the liner eventually bunched up at the right heel to prevent the heel from being fully inserted -- they then became unusable although the metal zippers held up. I bought the second pair (same smaller size), and it had different black plastic zippers. I also had the same heel problem with these, and one of the zippers eventually gave out after about year. The third pair was a bigger Size 11 Wide that I bought from Amazon -- it also has the black plastic zippers . This larger size works much better for me -- no heel problems and is more comfortable. But the black plastic zipper has given out on one boot in less than a year (just like the previous pair). The problem happens when the inner zipper liner under the plastic zipper gets caught in the zipper --- the black plastic zippers just can't handle much force to free them and I experienced off-tracking of the zipper and fraying of threads that secure the zipper to the boot. If you buy these, I suggest that you are careful when zipping up and down to put your finger under the zipper as you zip them to prevent the liner from being caught in the zipper -- if I buy another pair of these boots this is what I'm going to do. (If anyone knows of a similar zipper style snake boot that is made well, please respond and let me know).
