I am very tenderfooted, and have sensory issues. These allow me to enjoy the beach without having to pray there isn't a rock or shell under my feet as I walk around. Nor do I have to take them off to go swimming.
I had a pair of RocSocs that lasted me 15 summers at the lake before the soles cracked and the lace fasteners stopped working. I bought these last summer and now, in only the second year of use, the lace fasteners no longer hold and the shoes slip off in the water. I love the concept of RocSocs and always felt they were worth the money, but not any more. Now I have to view them as a single season item.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my second pair and I love them for rock scrambling!
A lot of water shoes fall apart very quickly because of the pool chemicals but these shoes have held up well and for a long time.
The sizing of this particular shoe is smaller than previous puchases of the same brand water shoe. Returned this pair.
