Our shoes are very eye catching, with the gold uppers and the glittery gold shoelaces. They can be used for skating or walking without the wheels. They are padded around the inside for comfort, especially around the collar. The heel cage is firm for support in that area. The inner sole is slightly padded, but you can add some insoles if you want more arch support. The sizing and fit are as expected.These shoes have very thick and sturdy soles. Your kids might like the fact that the shoes will add about 1.5 inches to their height. The soles do not bend, but their curved profile helps when walking. The treads are grippy, but these are not real walking shoes. These are good for show or social occasions, but the shiny uppers might get scuffed if they are used for rough play.The $39.99 price is midrange for this type of shoe. If you want to save money, some other similar shoes are selling for less.

Kids zooming by now.
My Gen A kid thought these looked goofy as hell...till he tried them. Now he wont take them off. They seem to be taking his early teen abuse pretty well. He calls them his "moonwalkers". (He's a kid he don't know much about Michael Jackson lol)Careful if you plan on letting the kids wear these in the house. I can see how they could damage some flooring. The wheels are rock hard and narrow. The shoes seem durable enough though.

Wow, these are nice (and shiny). They come in 3 shiny colors (SILVER, GOLD and PURPLE). They are for both boys and girls. They do look more like shoes for girls, but kids like shiny too. The wheels are hard plastic and they come unassembled. The key tool is included to make the assembly easy. These look very nice and they will probably work indoor/outdoor as long as the surface is relatively smooth. (floor, sidewalk, paved driveways, etc) DO NOT USE IN STREETS or ROADWAYS. Anyway, for the money, these will make a great gift for children.

Looks and quality are great
My daughter was on cloud 9 after getting her first pair of roller skates. So far they look amazing.
